We had the tandoor chicken and goat curry for entrees. The chicken 555 and samosas for appetizers. Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. We will definitely be going back.

The chicken 555 was my personal favorite.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. I love going there for the Tikka massala chicken. the friendly staff will help you with any question for have about the food. i have tried lots of different foods from there. everything is awesome with flavors that will make your mouth water. and your nose too sometimes.

Everything is good but I felt Lamb Biryani cost is more when compared to all other restaurants I tried. I suggest 19.99 would be the suggested Price for it . On another hand My Best choice is Lamb Biryani here. It is excellent

New Bombay Olive is awesome

This was our first time here, a last minute decision but a very good one. Trust the sign, the doors are heavy.
We walked in, immediately greeted by a friendly smile and were seated.
The service was incredible and prompt, we never waited long for food or drink, but no one hovered or asked if we needed anything too often. Well done.
The food was delicious!! We shared everything, the butter chicken was tender, the sauce was smooth, we also had chicken kebabs and the flavor was beyond phenomenal! The cheese naan and garlic naan were light and fluffy with little crisp bits from the open fire, absolutely perfect. our six year old absolutely loved it all too and LOVED the mango lassi, so did I, and I don't like yogurt!
We were talking about coming back before we left! Can't recommend Bombay Olive enough, I'm just sad I haven't been here before now.

There aren't enough things to say that could convey my satisfaction nor surprise with my visit here a few nights ago. Located in an unassuming storefront I had little expectation beyond a filling meal of standard Indian fare. From the moment I walked in, however, I was left with an exceptional and memorable experience. The staff was courteous, friendly, and incredibly inviting. When the food came out, I was met with aromas and a flavor profile that I have seldom experienced outside of overseas travel. In short, the quality and flavor of all food ordered was exceptional. Of note, wait staff also ensured that my napkins never ran short or my glass reached empty. While the pricing is on the higher side (but not out-of-line with food prices today), I would never hesitate paying for the positive experience that comes along with the meal. While I don't make it out to Carbondale very often, I don't envision making any future trips without a stop here.

I ordered delivery, and the food was just as good as dine in. New management changes have renewed my patronage. If you tend to use third party delivery, reconsider as the food will be delivered faster and less expensive through their website.

Great food, every dish we tried is prepared fresh and is delicious. Service is very friendly and I would definitely revisit if we are in the area next time.

This is my first time dining at Bombay Olive since the new owners took over. The space has undergone a renovation and remodel so it looks great and they will be finishing the addition of a bar in a few weeks. The menu has been updated and the food is delicious. This is definitely the best indian food in the area and the spices are spot on.
