To be honest,

Pulled up there was people in the parking lot cussing and yelling it seem like I ordered too much for them. To fix they got one of my orders completely wrong. I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive through....

Love that they have their play area with the good play ground still,if you know what I mean, you know how treasured that is. Foods typical, order is always right, service is great, but we go cuz it's cheap and the kids can burn off some energy.

Probably not. Will i ever stop putting one on my head and declaring I rule to my family (and anyone else we are with)? DEFINITELY not.

Travis and Dan are awesome. They get my order right every time, are super kind to my little one, and always have fresh food for us. Sometimes there's a wait but that's no problem , it's understandable because everything comes out HOT. Best BK around, no doubt. And shout out to Travis and Dan again because I swear everytime I go in, they're always the ones behind the counter....and doing a great job at it.

A Mixed Bag at Burger King on East Main Street
The Burger King at 1395 East Main Street in Carbondale, Illinois, has become a place of notable contrasts. Historically, this location has been a consistent five-star experience, largely thanks to a core group of employees who consistently deliver polite, friendly, and quick service. These individuals are truly the backbone of this establishment, always treating customers with respect and efficiently handling orders, no matter the complexity. Their dedication makes each visit a pleasant one, and it's always a pleasure to see their familiar faces.
However, a recent influx of new staff has unfortunately diluted the overall quality of service. This new group often appears disengaged, standing around talking amongst themselves rather than attending to customers. There have been instances where customers are left unacknowledged for extended periods, placing an unfair burden on the already hard-working veteran employees to pick up the slack. This disparity in work ethic is stark and detracts significantly from what was once a reliably excellent fast-food experience.
It's clear that upper management needs to address this issue promptly. Recognizing and rewarding the diligent, high-performing staff is crucial, not only to retain them but also to encourage continued customer loyalty. Simultaneously, disciplinary action or re-training for the underperforming new hires is essential to bring this Burger King back to its former five-star glory. The good workers here deserve all the praise, but the presence of the less-than-stellar new employees unfortunately brings down the overall rating.

I had ordered the A1 sauce bacon burger and there was no bacon and there was absolutely no A1 sauce on it, even though I had paid extra for it. I got home and realized that it wasn't correct, called the store, and only then was I told they were out of A1 sauce and that they could remake it with BBQ sauce if I wanted. I've worked at various different food places, you should warn people when they arrive or try to order something you're out of that you're out of it before they take the food. I tried getting a refund for it and all they offered as compensation was a $5 coupon for the nearly $14 meal. After several days, I was offered 1400 crowns. But this entire ordeal has left a very, very sour taste in my mouth so I will not be returning to ANY Burger King.

Took 20 minutes and got served the most disgusting oldest food they had and there was only one other person ordering.
Stopped for breakfast like I do most morning before work, and I'm told their not open, this was at 7:10 when they open at 6am, service the last month or more has dropped way off, went for lunch a few time and it always the same no matter what time it is they always tell me to pull forward and they will bring my food out to me a lot of the time I'm the only person in the drive through, I use the drive through cause it should be faster and yet everytime I'm there for at least 10 minutes

Update 4/25/25 the food was amazing the manager and crew are amazing. I don't care if it's day or night crew they are killing it. Thanks for an awesome experience.

Dollar menu burgers are 1/3 the size of the other burgers, total bait and switch.
