I really like Chicago hot dog. I think a lot of Carbondale people are missing out. They have gyros, pizza puffs (the original one from Chicago), Chicago hot dogs, and many more items.
As the owners of this local legend have are hard working people who have had a positive impact on local business & feed thousands of students on a budget I almost want to give that 5th star just for the drive 2 succeed found here for over 20yrs. Seriously underrated longtime Carbondale eatery owned and run by local family. Cheap GOOD food. Fairly quick service. Inside leaves a little bit to be desired in the dining area but when you look at the cost of and quality of the food, it's fine! Everything is a la carte and the menu is rather extensive, but I can't properly explain how good it is.
