It's a nice place, nicely decorated in folk Mexican style. The place is clean, the staff is polite and attentive. The food was very good, too. But I wouldn't recommend it for vegetarians. I had to gather my meal from side dishes to get something non meat containing. After all, it was a nice experience.
The food and service are always excellent! They have a a unique menu with a lot of great options you can’t find anywhere else. There’s always something for everyone! My favorites are the sausage skillet and the chile Colorado.
Every time I visit home, this is the spot at least one night, if not two nights, during my four-night stay in southern Illinois. The people are so patient, friendly, helpful and attentive!. This is the first time we ordered the guacamole Mexicana, and it was delicious and fresh. Everything was tasty down to the margaritas and the COLD beers!
