I am disappointed with the fact that they don’t post a recent menu with prices. I can tell that they are cutting corners by using cheaper ingredients . The fried rice was very dry . I had to call their phone number just to get someone to come to the front desk. This place is going downhill. Carbondale isn’t the place for Chinese restaurants.

My string beans were wonderful! Enjoyed clean pretty dishes and tea cups with a handle cuz often to hot to hold! The pork in my fried rice was tasty but in funny stringy clumps. Then my husband said his broccoli was nasty & his hot & sour soup nothing outstanding.

Honey Walnut Chicken is THE BEST CHINESE food dish I have ever had! Huge portions, large chunks of white meat chicken breast, large pieces of pineapple , and large candied walnuts covered in the TASTIEST HONEY WALNUT SAUCE. Served with rice and a delicious side salad of arugula. I easily get 2-3 meals out of one order!!! My husband raves about the honey walnut shrimp as well. He says the shrimp are so large he has to cut them to eat them!! Keep these on your menu, Hunan!! DELICIOUS!!💕💕💕💕💕

8 years since I last had the pleasure of eating here and it's just as good as I remember. Hunan definitely raises the bar and set the standard for what I believe high quality Chinese cuisine should be like. The crispy duck out of this world just like I remember it.

Your standard shitty chinese joint with one exception, the food is top tier. I ordered the hunan fried rice and general tso, while my colleague ordered the waitresses recommendation.... food was great. Service was slow and the atmosphere was your standard chinese restaurant that seems like it hasn't been updated in 40 years.

We went in for a late lunch. We are not from the area and it was recommended by our VRBO host. He wasn't wrong. Food was wonderful, our waitress was very friendly and tended to us like we were the only ones in the restaurant (and they were busy!)
