coming from Louisiana on an impromptu stop at a cafe- SO CUTE!! The caesar salad was absolutely delicious and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Will Definitely come back!!

My husband and I decided to try this place today. He had a scrambled egg, turkey bacon, home fries, and a biscuit. I had a half order of biscuits and gravy with home fries. The potatoes were well seasoned. The lemonade and matcha latte were excellent as well.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and the service was quick.

If you haven't tried this place you should.

Relaxed atmosphere, small but well-chosen menu, with breakfast and lunch items and vegan/veg. options too. Lots of organic ingredients. Full espresso/coffee menu and a case full of homemade pastries TO DIE FOR (ISUN). Cooler full of to-go beverages (seltzers, kombucha, sodas) … plus there’s a small market in back with a small selection of organic goods and typical co-op items. Worth coming off the freeway! The blueberry lemon cheesecake will revive your road-weary butt and make your day!

We drove in off the freeway for Sunday lunch during a drive from Nashville to Kansas City. BW and I are both glad we did. This is a charming place with friendly service and unexpectedly diverse food. I had a burger that was so far removed from what you get at McDonald's that it wasn't even funny. Fresh baked bun, generous toppings, and perfectly cooked meat. BW had a chicken Alfredo that was that she called delicious. Everything from Halal meat to gluten-free pastries with everything for us "normal" people in between. Go. You'll be glad you did.

Best falafa platter in Southern Illinois. It's only available on Friday, so go and check it out. So yum.

What a neat little place; I wish it existed back when I lived here. The grilled cheese was first rate. The blueberry muffin reminded me of mom's homemade muffins. I didn't get a coffee, but it sure looks like a good place to get a cup.

I used to enjoy their tofu scramble and vegan baked goods, but they recently decided to start offering animals as a food option. Very disheartening.

This place was AMAZING. We came here at open on a Saturday. I ordered the waffle and my husband got a huge breakfast burrito. I also got a honey latte which was the special and it was perfect. The portions and price were both phenomenal.

The patio was also beautiful and if I lived in the area would be there every day. They were also very dog friendly which was appreciated.

The service was spectacular. Our server was a really nice guy and someone who seemed like the owner or manager were also out helping and talking to customers. You could tell this business really cares about the customers and community. Anytime we’re back in Carbondale we will go back!

Came through town and this was one of the best stops. Amazing gluten free options for a celiac and real pretty patio and super kind service. Highly recommend. Feels like a kind place with zero judgement for me and my partner.
