Used to be the best pizza place in Carbondale. Today, the pizza was ok, but they did not have any pasta or sandwiches, which the kids wanted. Then gave me a bag to take my leftover pizza home in. Definitely gone down hill.

I was debating on how many stars to give. First the waitress was new, and horrible. Second we ordered a large Joes special, pan crust. It was $27 and some change. Then you charge $6 for crust. That makes the pizza $33. It was good but not $33 good, then charge $5.50 for the crust on a medium pizza. I don't think so. Then we leave and walk past the counter where 6 employees were standing and no one says thanks, have a good night etc. As we are exiting 1 waitress on the floor bless her heart.took the time to thank us and say have a good night. Very disappointing for our second visit, not sure if there will be a third visit

Large Joe's special Thick & Chewy not good. Three slices of the crust was almost burnt. $38.27 for a large pizza $1.73 more it would have been a $40.00 pizza. I didn't leave a tip. Quality of product has gone down. No 2 free sodas if you mention it. & prices have gone up. Been a customer 20 plus years. May be trying competitors.

Fantastic dinner tonight! Met the new owners, fantastic people. We had a thin crust pizza and it was amazing. We opted for the chewy thin and it was perfect, toppings were great and the cheese was perfect. I had a fountain Coca Cola and my husband enjoyed Blue Moon on draft. Our server was very nice and the place was clean. 10 out of 10!! We cant wait to go back and try some sandwiches!
Paglai’s is still THE BEST pizza ever! The new owners have not changed a thing and are doing a fantastic job! The sausage tastes just as fresh and delicious as it always has! I highly recommend Pagliai’s Carbondale and i will definitely be back!

Been making special trips to Pag's for 25 years for their Joe's Special on thin and crispy. Today, I knew from first bite they had changed the sausage and it was so bland! New owners promised not to change anything to find out they changed their sausage to a local provider about 6 weeks ago! So disappointing. My wife noticed a huge difference and it will be hard to convince her or my friends to come back to come back! New ownership please stick to original recipes or you will go out of business!!
