Since new management took over, everything is flawless. Orders always on time, don’t have to check and open boxes as everything is always correct, and staff are friendly in getting orders out.
If anyone had issues in the past with Carbondale Papa John’s, give them another try. They’re doing awesome.

Ordered every topping, minus pepperoncini, to be on the entire pizza, but pepperoncini on HALF, not just pepperoncini ONLY on half, so that was a letdown. Pizza was dry, didn’t see hardly any sauce in it.

I ordered on the app, and when I walked in to pick up my pizza, it took almost 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. My pizza was cold, and though I had ordered extra cheese, there was hardly enough cheese to cover the crust. There were wide open spaces of crust without sauce or cheese or condiments. I was very dissatisfied with the Carbondale Papa Johns.

GAVE ME FOOD POISONING DO NOT EVER GO THERE. I have been very unsatisfied with my order. The place is so dirty and they need to get checked out from health agents. Absolutely terrible me and my friend has been sick for 5 hours. We started feeling sick not even 2 hours after eating the pizza. I would give this place 0 stars but I cant.

Placed an order ahead for a delivery time of 8:00pm on a Sunday night. As of 8:25pm, we hadn’t received the order or any updates via the app other than it was being prepared and it said delivery time of 8:00-8:10. Then I called the store and spoke to an employee who informed me, they had ZERO delivery drivers. So they were sending it via DoorDash. I wasn’t made aware of this. By the time I was, my order had been accepted and then canceled by a driver. While still remaining at the store. They didn’t attempt to re-dispatch it until I called them. I was offered ZERO compensation for an order that’s over 30 minutes late. Only thing the employee said was “I hope someone picks it up.”

We’ve ordered quite a bit since they reopened. At least six times. Every time the crust has been incorrectly proofed, making it flat and tough. We keep hoping they’ll get the hang of it, but so far no luck.
Outstanding service. I’m really impressed with the new Papa John's. While we wouldn’t call ourselves regulars, they know my husband's name when he walks in for pickup and take great care to make sure our order is accurate.
