I love traxx! It’s the friendliest and cleanest bar in Carbondale! Great for college kids, adults and more! They always have popcorn, bags, cup pong and pool! They have a great dance floor, slots and touch tones too! The drinks are great and so are the bartenders! Would highly recommend! Also love woody!

Horrible place to go. Service was rude. I walked in around 9:00 with my 2 friends. The place was not busy and there was a bartender there helping 6 other people. So I went up and waited until she was ready to get my order. Once she finally got to us she was not friendly and honestly very rude. She rolled her eyes at me because I asked her if they offered nonalcoholic drink because I was the designated driver. ASKED. It was a simple question. I didn't know asking questions was wrong. Then when she got to my friend she looked her up and down and spoke in a horrible tone "Are YOU drinking tonight?" She said yes and tried her best to be nice because maybe she was having a bad night. Well, I guess she wanted our night to be bad because she did not even try to be nice or give her time to get her words out. Finally, when she gave her time to order something she asked for her ID. When my friend pulled out her ID she gave it one read and would not take it. She told her "I can not serve you, you are not 21". Mind you her 21st birthday was Monday. We went out on this night on a Friday. So she is absolutely 21 years old. She said her drivers license was wrong and that she would not take it. Last I checked, we all had a valid ID. Because the other place we went to dinner with my friends before the bar took her ID. She refused to serve us. She didn't even give a reason besides "you are not 21, I will not serve you". I hate to say it was ill intent of racism not to serve her because she is asian... because she had no problem serving the other people at the bar but I guess they were white enough for her to gain her service.
So do not go here unless you want a horrible bar experience. The place is dead and the service is awful. I can'teven give a review over the drinks bc we were not served anything. I would also recommend FIRING the girl working that night on March 28, 2025. Blonde and average height of maybe 5'5". She did not make me or my friends feel welcomed. Terrible service. Rude bartender. Would NOOOT recommend going if you’re trying to have a fun night with friends. This was my second time going since the first could have been a one off. WRONG. DO NOT GO TO TRAXX.

"I recently visited Traxx bar and I had an incredible time! The bar was clean, well-decorated, and had a fun and lively atmosphere. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a drink or help with any questions I had. The drink menu was extensive, with a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines to choose from. I was impressed by the quality of the drinks and the attention to detail in their preparation. The bar also had a great selection of bar food, making it easy to grab a bite while enjoying a drink. I had a great time dancing to the live music and socializing with friends. I highly recommend Traxx bar to anyone looking for a fun and enjoyable night out."
