I did a header off the cement stair dropped my ice cream. They checked on me made me a new ice cream a nurse was even there and checked on me which I appreciate because I know the risks that they incur with not being allowed to be good Samaritans. So I highly recommend this place for polite people are aplenty and if you embarrass yourself by taking a dive they'll even remake you an ice cream and help in any way you need.
Dietary restrictions: If you're lactose intolerant they make smoothies with almond milk and they have slushies

I really like this friendly, home town feeling ice cream shop. This place has history. Been serving the community a long time with hard work and pride. They serve delicious ice cream. They have a very diverse menu with just about something for everyone. The staff are polite and seem up beat and even enjoy their roles at this small but clean shop. It has a very pleasant & comfy atmosphere. Well done Carbondale. Well done.

A stop for ice cream post eclipse, and I was pretty disappointed. Our orange shake and root beer shake barely tasted different bc there wasn't enough flavor added. I would not stop here again.

It's a shame you can't give a negative star. This place in Carbondale is the least professional. It's the busiest weekend Carbondale has had in years, and they unexpectedly closed early two nights in a row without telling anyone. The only way to find out is by showing up and trying to get in line, just to be told they're not taking orders 50 minutes before closing time. I was really hoping to support a local spot in Carbondale, but after this happening two nights straight and seeing how unprofessional the owner is, I have no choice but to stick with chain places.
