The food here is not only delectably scrumptious but also comes at a reasonable price, perfectly balanced in proportion. I had sushi here for the first time, normally unwilling to try it, and to my surprise, I can now say I like sushi; in which they have an abundant selection. Great place for date night.
Overall horrible experience. I will never go back. Booths falling apart, Jerry Springer playing loudly on the TV. At least 6 months ago, the menu prices were out of date, and they still haven’t bothered to update them or even offer a QR code with updated prices. Shumai were ridiculously tiny, looked premade, and tasted bad. Veggie ramen was subpar. Teriyaki salmon was rank like yesterday’s mackerel, plus overdone. I couldn’t eat the fried rice. How do you mess up fried rice? It was inedible—bitter with little burned flecks.

The owner needs to put some cash into this business. It is very worn down inside and the quality of food reflects that. My meat was way over cooked. The sushi was just so-so.
Stopped in for food while in town. I was happy that someone greeted me right away when I came in. The young lady also helped me with ordering. I got the chicken teriyaki dinner with extra teriyaki sauce. Everything was delicious and served at perfect temperature. I was so hungry I forgot to get a picture before I started eating. They have daily specials and the atmosphere inside restaurant looked friendly. It's also a nice size for groups. I would highly recommend. They have plenty of parking around the restaurant. They only serve hot sake.
I ordered the lobster rangoons, and there was half a teaspoon of filling in each. It was all wanton wrapper. The miso soup is watered down. The vegetables tempura was two onion rings, three slices of cucumber, and four broccoli fleurettes. Very disappointed.

I ordered yaki soba with New York strip rare. What I was given was well done rump roast. The meat was flavorless like it had been boiled.While the California roll tasted fresh the meat ruined my opinion.

This was the first time many of us had sushi, so we were a bit skeptical; we were there for an SIU graduation and the graduate made reservations so we went along with it.It. Was. Amazing!!!We had a large group and they were able to accommodate all of us. Very friendly staff - the chef even came out to speak with us to see how everything was. The food was so beautifully and creatively arranged! It was an art form!! We may need to make a reason to come back to town just so we can go again!
