Food was very tasty. I got the hay stack and a side order of corned beef hash that I mixed in with it. It was delicious. The price for my order was a bit higher than I expected. I ordered 10 chocolate chip pancakes, an Old 50 omelet, an Old 50 hay stack and a side order of corned beef hash. My bill was right at $99 for everything. All together the food was good and I'm sure I'll be back.

As husband says, "It was very OK." We stopped for lunch there based on the good reviews. The service was good and it was clean but ready for a refresh on the paint and decor. The turkey melt had more meat than I expected and was white meat thick sliced off a breast and not deli meat. Creamy chicken and rice soup was flavorful albeit heavy on the rice and cream, light on chicken. Pork tenderloin sandwich, again just OK. I would give it another try for breakfast rather than lunch.Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not. Narrow entry with tight turns inside.

Unplanned visit with our granddaughter (5) was unexpectedly fantastic! We were headed to McDonald’s on Labor Day and saw Old 50 Cafe was open. I told our granddaughter, who likes to play on playgrounds at McDonald’s and she was disappointed. She asked if they were kid-friendly. When we saw the kids menu she said, “This place is great for kids!” She had several good options and chose spaghetti. We had very delicious homemade foods and many choices too. It was a-win-win-win experience.Parking: Parking on street in front, across and around corner.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had many yummy choices.

Right off main st. What a beautiful little diner placed in the heart of history to walk around and admire. Don't be late they are only open till 2pm! I had the breakfast special. 1/2 order of biscuits n gravy, 2 eggs, hasbrowns, sausage or bacon. Best breakfast meal definitely something to write home about! If you are looking for a simple, quiet, hometown diner this is the one. Service is like family and very well kept and clean for your liking. I would eat breakfast here everyday if I could. But don't forget about the rest of the menu. Enjoy a nice meal that will fill you up and leave you happy and probably a snack to leave with! Restrooms are available and of course as clean as can be!

Asked for coffee and waitress said she'd have to make a whole pot. Wish if said 'okay' instead of getting water. Fish sandwich was an overfried fish square that covered a little more than half the bun.

Not high price and filling portions. People are very friendly and attentive. Has a room for larger parties. They are only open 6:30-3:30 Sunday-Saturday. So no supper, but breakfast is offer all day. I try to eat there once a month.
