If you’ve never stopped and ate here-I HIGHLY suggest you do! The food (we had shrimp po boy, fried chicken, spaghetti, salads which were all WONDERFUL, and to end beignets even better than the ones at Disney World), service, atmosphere, and all around appreciation for their customers makes it a new FAVE in our books!! Kinda glad we will be going to Carlyle so much this spring and summer!!

We had the catfish filet dinner and the shrimp boil tonite. Both dishes were delicious, the catfish literally melted in your mouth. The wait staff and hostess were very attentive. Our waitress-Lauren- was amazing, friendly and efficient. Serving sizes were more than enough- could not eat it all. We frequent this establishment often and will continue to come back.

Dude my niece works there! Ask for Maya, she will treat you right!! Great burgers and specials. Recent remodel. Pretty cool spot for a small-town! Check them out for lunch or dinner!!

Had to wait a long time for our food as they were out of propane (at dinner time and we were the only table ordering). In all fairness we were warned that it could be a while but they could have told us that before we ordered. We chose to stay and wait. It’s out in the middle of nowhere, so by the time we found another restaurant…..
I was surprised that they didn’t offer at least some kind of compensation. The potato appetizer was amazing but the shrimp dinner was nothing to write home about. My husband enjoyed the chicken wing dinner but it came with nothing besides wings (?).

This place is great! The food was delicious( I had gator legs and asparagus , my husband had a burger) but more than that the staff is beyond exceptional! They are a very honest and trustworthy crew that saved my tail end when I left my purse by accident ? I highly recommend if you haven't ate here to stop in and grab a bite and a good drink too

I was disappointed they were out of alligator but made quick decision and went with crab cakes and a cheeseburger. Both were excellent. I will go out on a limb and say the cheeseburger was a step above excellent. I was extremely impressed. Even though it was very busy the service was fast and the food came right out with barely a wait. Highly recommended.

Poor service (wait time for table and it took about 45 minutes to an hour for our food), food was undercooked (crab cakes, French fries) and the pulled port sandwich tasted like it was cooked hours prior. With only 3 other tables being waited on, I feel like the service and quality of food should have been better. Not impressed and not going back.

Waitress was short & to the point. My husband ordered cheese fries. Usually that means cheese melted on fries with a few spices. No it was MAYBE 12 fries. And a very small container of cheese . Was 5.00 Mine & my Granddaughters ordered chicken strips. Fries separate. Fries were 3.50. I had about 15 , she had about 12 Fries. Was RIDICULOUS!! I WANTED TO SAY , Are you kidding me? Where's the Fries. But didn't want to embarrass her.
