What a great find this morning, traveling from Utah. The food was great, real home cooking and the service.... Well the waitres, sorry I didn't get her name is a bundle of energy and kindness. Thank you for a great breakfast and a smile!!!!!!

Really friendly cafe with good service and welcoming to new folk. Despite being filled with regulars, people smiled when we were coming in and getting a table. When the local's greet you warmly - probably a good town to be in. Owner was attentive and even joked with us a bit. Fast service and good food. If you are in Carmi - go here. Won't be disappointed.

had breakfast there at 10:30 this morning and a cockroach came crawling out of the napkin wrapped around the silverware. waitress even seen it and stomped on it and just said sorry and kept going. didn't apologize for the bug still charged us full price. we definitely will not be back.

I think I ordered the wrong thing. Service was terrific they kept asking if I needed anything I probably should've said an application.. I'm sure this place is great at times but to many things were off with the food for my taste. Looked like the cook tried their best with the tools they were given.
