“On our way to Garden of the Gods from Indiana, we stopped by Carmi for food. I initially thought this place was just a run of the mill coffee shop, but I was surprised to find that this was a full blown restaurant. Not only was it a full blown restaurant, it was a dang good one too. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Prices were great too. Only costed me $30 plus tip to feed a group of three. And I gave them a Ulysses S. Grant because the service was phenomenal. I haven’t mentioned the best part yet. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I really enjoyed Carmi, and we will be back if we are back.”

“Today we met David & Jan Cross at the Carmi location. They both ordered taco salad My husband ordered shrimp fajitas and I ordered grilled fish with salad and rice Their taco salads came out first my husbands came out 15 minutes later and the waitress stated my fish is taking longer 20 minutes later she brought my fish out and I told her to take it back and remove it from my bill I feel like this could have been avoided if the kitchen staff had been doing their jobs instead of partying Laughing loudly, loud music etc. I also did not appreciate the dirty looks the staff gave us after waitress took my food back We have always liked and supported Gilbert and we have always gotten good service Hopefully this will not happen again or we will cease to visit the Carmi location. We have been to the Mt Vernon Indiana & Harrisburg location and have always liked it when we ate there.”

“Family take-out dinner. Arby's is always a goto for fast food. Sandwiches were up to spec, but the curly fries were not the usually good product. I'm not sure if the cooking oil was in need of changing. The taste was not good. I'm sure it was just an anomaly. Will be back.”

“This is a fun little drive in with great and fast service and good food. The menu was a little weird because it didn’t have prices listed but the price of the food wasn’t bad so it didn’t matter. I enjoyed my chicken strip basket and my dad loved his catfish.”

“The food some days after 2pm is kinda cold but overall very good and the lady remembers everyones drinks soon as they come in the door and she's very patient with us when we have a messy eater who's 1 years old”

“This Wal Mart is the absolute worst I have ever seen, the shelves are hardly ever stocked, there are always full roll aways sitting randomly all over the store in the way, and when employees ARE stocking shelves, they park them in the middle of the aisle where you can't get around them. When asking for assistance from anyone in a blue vest, the answer is always sorry, I'm not sure. You'd be better off going out of town, because you're probably going to have to make AT LEAST one more stop somewhere to get what you set out to get at this wal mart. If I could have given zero stars, I would have. Horrible experience. It ain't got ny sense why any1 wuld have to ask any wrkr about a product that shows that it's instock in store online but when you get to Walfart and it isn't on the shelf and ask the worker about the product showing being in-stock and being asked rudely how did I FIND THIS INFORMATION OUT... well it was on y'all's walmart app & Walmart.com and showing it for in store online being instock. Well the YOU GOT 2BE freaking kidding thing was told . We have 2 ask for the products other than that they won't put any out on shelf the OGP gets first dibs. We instore shoppers take all there products OGP is 1st priority bunch BS.”

“Was there tonight celebrating my Grandsons 17th birthday! Good food and service! I mentioned it being his birthday so they brought our a Mexican sombrero and sang Happy Birthday to him! Plus a complimentary desert! He might think he was cool, but he really enjoyed his 17th birthday! Memories!”

“Slow service but beautiful place - seriously, it's the nicest fast food restaurant I've ever been in (outside Disney or Chicago). Food was carefully prepared and very good. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.”
