“We had a large group being out of town for work but they were extremely accomodatimg and the food showed up fast and was very good. Nice cut for the ribeyes which most of the 15-20 of us ordered. Not one single complaint from one of ”
“The food was AWESOME! We had great service. Somewhat of a Spanish and English barrier, but I knew enough Spanish to get us by, and the Walter was very polite and patient as we spoke. The seats are very pretty. The decor makes the atmosphere very authentic.Vegetarian options: Idk. I'm not vegan and didn'tKid-friendliness: Kid friendly menu.”
“We are new to this area and have been missing the pizza from up north towards Chicago so we tried this place! Although it’s not Chicago style pizza it’s a fantastic place to order from! Please whatever you do, try the cheesy bread! It’s sooooo good!!!! Love this placeParking: Small town but lots of parking”
“Food was excellent. The barbecue pork steak was fall apart tender and delicious. The chicken tenders were very tasty, tender and just the right amount of crispy. Very friendly staff. Excited to go back and try other dishes and may just do that today since I will be going through Grayville. If you check it out from this review, tell them Mr. Ben sent you.”
“Great experience...food was good, service was quick and the place was clean. The two servers were really busy with online orders and 3 people waiting in line and they still got my sandwich made in a reasonable time considering how busy.”
“The friendliest coffee & specialty tea shop that I’ve visited. A must visit during your visit to New Harmony. Go in for coffee or tea & come out with a smile! Vanilla latte is my favorite. They serve seasonal food-sandwiches, soup or muffins. Closed Wednesdays.”
“This is the best fried chicken you can find in North America as well as the rolls. This place is an absolute must. If you're stopping through keansburg, Illinois on a Sunday before noon, you better get there early because it will all disappear. Pretty sure the population of this town doubles on Sundays because of this restaurantKid-friendliness: Coloring books and friendly staff to take care of the children that might wonder away”
“I ordered to-go on April 7 2024 (thanks for being open for the eclipse!) and my family of four ate a fabulous meal for very reasonable prices. The stuffed portabello was amazing! Me and my wife shared a salad with chicken, tomato, bacon and lettuce and the chicken was flavorful and pulled apart easily with a plastic fork. So delicious!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu with some easy options for kids.”
“We visit here at least once a week. They have a wide variety of drinks and a good selection of bakery items. We love the scones. They also offer several flavors of gourmet icecream. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a nice place to meet friends and hang out.”
“Small-town dining at its best. Easy I64 access. As a Hoosier, I'm grateful this historic, friendly, great-food diner is at our southwest gateway. Be sure to plan your trip so that you are there between 7 am and 2 pm CST!”
“I love to support small town businesses. At a local store I bought Christmas Sugar cookie and I bought Pepprmint something already ground up. Their packaging is great! The aroma smells the same every day, unlike what's packaged in a can. You can buy your coffee with whole beans as well. There's also an option to buy their coffee in capsules. Phillipstown Coffee has me hooked!”
“Food was good, large portions, good atmosphere, I gave 4 stars for service because of a slight language barrier, other than that it was all around good place to eat.”
“Food was great. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Definitely fresh home cooked food. I got the coq au vi and it was very good and hot! Will be back next time I come through the area. Nice to slow down every now and then.”
“Great place for a bite to eatVegetarian options: Great place for vegetarian dishes like green peppers, lettuce, onions all kind of optionsDietary restrictions: Any dietary restrictions they will help to suit your needsParking: Loads of parking space”
“Luckily, the North Posey high school team had a game, so the atmosphere was relaxed and humming. Pizza was good and Tammy’s chicken breast (gluten-free) was the best she’s had.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options and the waitress can help you with it.”
“This is such a cute quaint restaurant. We ate brunch on a rainy Saturday in January. It was cold and dreary outdoors but inside it was warm and cozy and welcoming. Our service was excellent. Food was excellent and not your ordinary fare. The chef obviously has some knowledge and imagination. We enjoyed our meal and intend to come back again soon when passing through Indiana.”
“It’s cool. Take your kids & grandkids here after the Games. The big grand table in the middle sits 20 for your larger parties. Fun classic people can go here to relax for true Americana service without the extra extreme hoopla. Price is $$ so expect a $25 meal for 2 if it’s a date.”
“I’m gonna be straight up with you, I work at McDonald’s. Quarter pounders are cooked fresh. You do have to wait on it. We do apologize. We have never took in someone’s debit card and left them in the drive-through without it. That was a lie. And also we are very short staffed so if you do have to wait for your food, we do apologize. We are ALWAYS advertising for new employees. And as a McDonald’s employ, we are not authorized to give you a receipt you have to ask for them. Sorry. And for the person that had to wait 21 minutes for your mobile order, we can’t control if you ordered it at the wrong restaurant. We can’t control your phone. We can’t ensure that we got everything you asked for it that’s why we ask, “Is everything correct on your order?” So with that out of the way, please consider the fact that this is a local restaurant. Ran by people that live in this community. We all have to make a living and and let’s be good to one another! I’ve never had troubles out of this restaurant, even before I worked here. Y’all just want reason to complain and hate on something. Smh”
“Great food and service. They were a little slow, but they were packed and everyone was running as hard as they good. Great experience overall. Food was great, drinks were good. Will definitely be back. Love the playground right outside. Kids can do their thing while the adults did our thing, and could still keep an eye on them. Great time!”
