“Big John’s is the perfect hometown place to eat. They are only open for breakfast and lunch during the week on Friday evenings. They are open from 5 to 7 for dinner. That is always when we go and it is awesome. Not open on Sundays.”

“Differently not your every week dining but it's differently a must try restaurant. It's a bit pricey but if you leave hungry that's your fault plus you will differently have left overs. We ate dinner and had lunch the next day on what we took home. Super friendly and fast service. “Taco Tierra is a local staple in Mt. Carmel. They offer daily specials Monday through Friday. I enjoy the Mexican Potato, Nacho Papas, and Fish Tacos the best. Certain items like the Fish Tacos are only offered on certain days of the week. My lunch break at work is only 30 minutes, so Taco Tierra is a good lunch option for me, as they are much quicker than the other fast food options around town.”

“Mt carmel is by far our favorite Subway. Their bread is never hard or dry. Their cookies are never crunchy. Fast service. They have a drive thru that doesn't always have all of their options but overall, excellent.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie sub (no meat, optional cheese and mayo)Kid-friendliness: Mini subs for kids. Comes with a drink, chips or a cookie, and a cardboard game.”

“My wife and I ordered pizza and cheese bread from there tonight!When I first walked in I loved the inside! It’s cute and small. Would be nice for a little family dinner or lunch. The service was good. The girls at the counter was sweet and one of the guys from the back was super nice! Bragging about how good the pizza is! Well he did not disappoint!The pizza looked absolutely amazing! So did the cheese bread.Their cheese bread was delicious. The crust was not too thick or too thin. We ordered a hand tossed 16” pizza! Look at how huge that pizza is!!! Wowzers! We both was very impressed with their pizza. It was so delicious. Their cheese sauce and marinara sauce was good for dipping sauces as well. The one thing we was hoping for. We ordered extra cheese and it just didn’t seem like we received extra cheese. But it’s not their fault! We are just cheese fanatics! Such a good quality pizza from a small family business! ?Definitely recommend and we will be back!”

“Staying at the KOA in Grayville, and wanted an Impossible "burger." The best tasting one so far was from this BK. Service was fast, courteous, and professional. Surprised me actually given the surrounding vibe of everything around the BK. Can't judge a book by its cover.”

“Once in awhile I'll go through and get a Peanut Butter Crunch Blender as a treat. The service is always good. You don't usually have to wait very long to get your beverage. I don't go that often. For it costs it's not something that I'm going to get for myself on a regular basis, but when I do get something from Scooter's it is usually good.”

If you're stopping through keansburg, Illinois on a Sunday before noon, you better get there early because it will all disappear.
