“We came on a Friday evening at like 7 and we got seated right away. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was FANTASIC!! We got the BBQ pulled pork platter w creamy slaw and fried apples and the smoked ham platter w baked beans and fries. We also got the drunken potato spikes as an appetizer and they were SO good. This was also one of the cheapest date nights my bf and I have done in a long time. Highly recommend!!Parking: Parking super close to restaurant.”

“Big John’s is the perfect hometown place to eat. They are only open for breakfast and lunch during the week on Friday evenings. They are open from 5 to 7 for dinner. That is always when we go and it is awesome. Not open on Sundays.”

“We were having truck issues and stopped at the location due to the parts store. While in the parking lot checking out the truck issues, the owner of DJ’s came out to see if we needed help and offered to let us sit in the restaurant with our little girl because it was hot outside. As soon as you walk in you instantly know the pizza will be amazing by the smell, and it was delicious! They also gave my little girl a free yoo-hoo! Amazing people and food! Definitely recommend!”

“We stopped in at lunch time to get some food to go. We both got the California chimichanga. It was phenomenal!!! Chips and salsa were excellent as well, and I'm a snob when it comes to salsa ? it is the best salsa around that I've had, it's comparable to the salsa at El corral in Vincennes, which is my favorite restaurant. The chimi was great too, had chicken, steak, and shrimp, with fajita veggies. And topped with cheese sauce. YUM”

“Differently not your every week dining but it's differently a must try restaurant. It's a bit pricey but if you leave hungry that's your fault plus you will differently have left overs. We ate dinner and had lunch the next day on what we took home. Super friendly and fast service. “Taco Tierra is a local staple in Mt. Carmel. They offer daily specials Monday through Friday. I enjoy the Mexican Potato, Nacho Papas, and Fish Tacos the best. Certain items like the Fish Tacos are only offered on certain days of the week. My lunch break at work is only 30 minutes, so Taco Tierra is a good lunch option for me, as they are much quicker than the other fast food options around town.”

“Great little buffet. Most of the norma included plus hibachi grill. I didn’t do the grill personally but it looked good. The food was plentiful and hot/fresh. I had their seafood selections and they were very good! Dessert including hand dip ice cream. Overall the visit and food was pleasant. When in Princeton I would definitely visit again! I visited this restaurant about 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Cost for dinner buffet was only $10.75 added a soda for $1.50 and tax was $.86 for a total of $13.11 before tip. Can’t beat the quantity and service at that price!”

“This lovely little bar tucked into picturesque Poseyville is really what America is all about. The pizzas and food are fantastic, the beer is great and the staff and people who drink there make you just want to stay. While we were there, there was a special on draft beers at a 1$ pint!! Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”

“I've been here a few times, and I'll probably keep coming back. The service is always great, and the servers and bartenders are always friendly. The food is kind of hit and miss- sometimes the tots are good, sometimes they're a little soggy and cold. I eat boneless wings, and most times they're really good, but every now and again they'll come out hardly warm with barely any sauce on them. However, the service is enough to keep me coming back. Also, it's always clean and bright.”

“I LOVED this place!! I loved the atmosphere. Our bartender was so amazing. The food was excellent. This is the perfect “dive” bar. I’d love to come back to experience the night life. I’ve never had such a good burger. It was the best burger I’ve had in a really long time. Fried mushrooms were so good too. I come to Indiana once or twice a year to visit my aunt and uncle. I’ll be coming back for burgers every visit back. This place is literally a gem to find. So happy we stumbled across this bar. I’ll take this place over a fine dining restaurant any time. It felt like home.”

“Got a ham, egg and cheese wrap for breakfast and it was SO good!! My husband got the omelet w/potatoes and he thought it was VERY good. We were with friends who also really liked their breakfast. We were all so surprised that the place was not busy on a Saturday morning. If you haven't tried this place for breakfast (or even lunch) we highly recommend you do. You won't be disappointed!
