It was our first time stopping by on our way home had double cheese burgers and onion rings my wife had coney dog with cheese and chocolate shake it was very good we will be stopping back by soon all that was just $16 and change very budget friendly place

My daughter passed away and I was so thirsty from being outside at the funeral home. And I want it was something cold to drink and yesterday's was the closest I love this place I used to buy there kids meal boxes which were cars paper cars. I love them things. I was making us kids grandkids. All had there own cars in line. Was cute. Don't know why they close it inside and that's kind of devastating what is my favorite thing to hang out with my people got in town
Yesterday's has never pretended to be anything it isn't. The food is hearty and greasy, tasting exactly like you expect. Some people don't like it, but they're usually expecting the flash of a cooperate restaurant. This is a small business in a smaller-by-the-year town. It's a hole in the wall in a lot of ways, and that should earn it a badge of honor in and of itself.The car hops work hard and deserve every tip they get and more. Considering all food is made fresh to order, start to finish, they're incredibly quick. You may get on the road faster going through a fast food place; but if you're hoping to slow down a step and enjoy your meal, even though you still have somewhere to be, Yesterday's provides that option. To me, there's 4 (still open) businesses that are synonymous with life in Carmi. 1) DiMaggio(specifically the Carmi location). 2) Yesterday's. 3) John Brown Melons. 4) Little Giant.Whether you're from Carmi or just stopping through, Yesterday's is a spot you just can't afford to skip.
Kid-friendliness: Their kidsmeals are fun and come in a car-shaped box. Everyone is relaxed, and no one here will judge you for a crying baby.

This is a fun little drive in with great and fast service and good food. The menu was a little weird because it didn’t have prices listed but the price of the food wasn’t bad so it didn’t matter. I enjoyed my chicken strip basket and my dad loved his catfish.
