This is probably the worst bar I've been to. I've been here multiple times to catch up with friends and it is bad service every time. The ambiance is also way too dark and depressing. The food is ok though. Quality- I got their chicken wings, burgers, and tacos here before. It is pretty standard bar food. Nothing special. Quantity- an ok amount comes out. Atmosphere - Every time I've come here the dining table is either sticky or unclean and there is food on the seats. It is too dark for my liking too. Service- The food takes at least half an hour to come out during dinner time. The waitresses here also take at least 20 minutes to get a check to you when you ask. Sometimes it is the wrong check too. I've also had a waitress get upset when I tipped 3 dollars on a 10 dollar appetizer.

Came here after a long time away with the intention of having the BEST CHICKEN AND WAFFLE DISH EVER to be disappointed with a new recipe. One thing you should consider doing is make the Belgian Waffle sweeter. The sugar should caramelize. It wasn't nearly sweet enough. Good luck in the future!

Visited on a Sunday evening shortly before a Chicago Bears Sunday Night Football game. For a Sunday evening, this bar was very close to empty. We ordered the mushroom tacos which were average and we also ordered two cheese pizzas. The pizzas were really good and I would recommend them. Ordered a few rounds of Bulldog Amber Ales and Bulldog IPAs. Both the cheese pizzas and Bulldog drafts were the Sunday special and at discounted prices compared to other days. The TVs around this bar definitely need an upgrade - Some of them have constant black horizontal bars that appear every few seconds and some of them have discoloration issues. The bad quality of the TVs are noticeable because they are super outdated and need a major upgrade around this bar.

I had to walk out of the playoffs last Sunday it's going to meet a friend of mine to watch the Bears game there but the stench of the place was just so god-awful I had to leave the smell in the stench around the bar area and it permeated the rest of the restaurant I had to leave!! The TV's need to be updated it is almost impossible to watch a game in a color TV that has the actual colors of the grass and the actual colors of the team.. I was there a couple of weeks ago and the food was good and there was no awful smell.It is a very nice place however they need to fix a few things before I go back. One get rid of the to fix the or get new TVs there's a Sam's club in at Costco not too far away

Saturday the 16th we came in around 6:30 and not crowded in dining area. A young man sat us in a booth and we waited over 15 minutes with no luck not one person acknowledged us! We got up and left and when we approached the Hostess station, I told the young male Host we were leaving and that not one server approached us. He said ok and let us walk out the door!!! Who trained this young man?? We Will NEVER go to Bulldogs again!!

50+ beers They have around 50+ beers on tap and bottles. One of my favorite beers is Zombie Dust which they had on tap. This Bulldog location is in a bit of a weird spot. It's off the main road (Gary Ave), so you probably wouldn't even find it if you don't live in the neighborhood area. There's not much around it, but there's a competing bar just next to it called JT's Corner. I started at Bulldog and besides the Zombie Dust, it was a bit boring. They were playing good music which was great, but barely anymore in the bar area. The food on the menu didn't look great, but I never ate there so my review doesn't reflect that. I'm giving 4 stars for the greatness in beer. Went to JT's Corner and much better crowd, and felt more like a hometown bar

When dining in, this place is great. However, I don't always dine in. My past 3 orders have been thru grubhub Most recent was a bunless burger with coleslaw. I requested in the comments to not include the bun and also please include ketchup and mustard. The bun request was paid attention to, the ketchup and mustard request was not. And I didn't receive the Cole slaw! The last order I had was fish and chips, they didn't include tartar sauce. Whoever is putting their to go orders together clearly doesn't care and now I won't be ordering or dining in here again. Because without the condiments it's not that good
