Visited on a Sunday evening shortly before a Chicago Bears Sunday Night Football game. For a Sunday evening, this bar was very close to empty. We ordered the mushroom tacos which were average and we also ordered two cheese pizzas. The pizzas were really good and I would recommend them. Ordered a few rounds of Bulldog Amber Ales and Bulldog IPAs. Both the cheese pizzas and Bulldog drafts were the Sunday special and at discounted prices compared to other days. 50+ beers They have around 50+ beers on tap and bottles. One of my favorite beers is Zombie Dust which they had on tap. This Bulldog location is in a bit of a weird spot. It's off the main road (Gary Ave), so you probably wouldn't even find it if you don't live in the neighborhood area. There's not much around it, but there's a competing bar just next to it called JT's Corner. I started at Bulldog and besides the Zombie Dust, it was a bit boring. Came here after a long time away with the intention of having the BEST CHICKEN AND WAFFLE DISH EVER to be disappointed with a new recipe. One thing you should consider doing is make the Belgian Waffle sweeter. The sugar should caramelize. It wasn't nearly sweet enough. Good luck in the future!
