I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. I always get the salted fish/chicken fried rice, and their adobo, lumpia and pancit never disappoints. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite Asian restaurants in the area.

The food was just wonderful. I visited the Chicago area from San Diego and was craving some Filipino food. I loved the crispy Pata, it was so delicious, juicy, crispy, and flavorful. The adobo, was extremely scrumptious and reminded me of the food in Manila. My wife is Filipina, and loved it as well. Will definitely return in the near future.

Hong Ning provides truly authentic Filipino food - from yummy appetizers (don't pass up the lumping shanghai!) to their warming soups (sinagang is my favorite!) to their delicious main dishes (gotta love Kare kare!) and desserts (had their leche flan - very rich!), I was very pleased with all the tasty goodies!

What a lovely little gem! Portions are huge, we ordered two entries and an app and brought a ton home for leftovers. Staff was friendly, helpful. Service was FAST. Would definitely go back!

I like this place but not my go to coz it can be expensive. These are few of my favorite dishes and desserts. I love their halo-halo, crispy pata, inihaw na liempo, leche flan, and pritong balat ng manok. I usually call and I do pick up for convenience coz I live close. Not sure of their service when dining in though.
