Food is always consistent. Portions are filling. Staff is friendly. The fried pickles are the best because they have the chicken finger batter. VT needs to bring back the Fenway Dog!!!!!

My party and I went here in the evening for dinner and was overall pleased this establishment. All the food was great but I believe that the chicken tenders can use a little bit more seasoning within their batter.
Our waiter also forgot about our table multiple times such as bringing us dressings, but he was good otherwise. I was glad to leave the restaurant full.

Hannah made our visit to Village Tavern Grill & Bar in Carol Stream absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She checked on us regularly, made great menu recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect throughout our meal.

They have an all you can eat fish fry on Fridays during Lent. That is when we went, at 5:00 on a Friday and it was packed. It took us about 20 minutes to get seated but by the time we did it was about an hour for those coming in. Despite the crowd, the service was good. The fish fry fantastic! The portions were very generous... No need to ask for seconds we all took some home. The only minor downside was that it was quite noisy, so it was difficult for one of the members of our party to hear conversation.
