I was craving barbecue today, but the place I ended up at was a culinary crime scene. The shrimp was so rubbery it could have bounced, and the fish was battered with enough cornmeal to build a small sandbox. When the server asked if we wanted a doggy bag, I politely declined, mostly because I was worried my dog would need dental insurance if he tried to chew the tough, overcooked ribs.

I have never been so dissatisfied with the food that I ordered. First of all when you order something “to go” it needs to be put in separate containers. Second of all, when a customer orders something in separate containers they should do it. Rob you need to teach Mr. Sergio how you do things there. You don’t put BBQ nachos all in a messy, sloppy, mess. Then when I called to complain about this I was told that I have to order it deconstructed! What the hell does this mean. Always in the past Rob and his employees knew how to pack a “to go” order the right way. Everything was put in a separate bowl with a lid on it!!! And another thing, family members who show up at Mr. Sergio’s restaurant to eat could have the common courtesy to speak in our language. English! Not Mexican. Other customers were wondering if they were talking about them. So disrespectful. I doubt that I will ever eat there again unless Mr. Rob is cooking and making “to go” orders. Pitiful to have the nerve to charge such outrageous prices and then not deliver on quality of their food. Shame on you 😡

The service was wonderful and the restaurant itself was nice. The food was ok, not bad but not great either. The Mac and cheese seemed like it was boxed and my brisket was 90% fat. The corn nuggets were very good though and something different.

Made a pickup order over the phone and ordered chicken strips in one of the 3 meals. Got home with some kind of fish so I called to ask for a refund since I have a newborn and couldnt get back out to go get it if they did remake the right food. She argued with me over the phone and then switched me to a manager. The manager then got on the phone and also argued and refused to remake the order or refund the meal that was wrong. We've supported Robs BBQ for years and had them cater our wedding but they were willing to lose our business over $10 chicken strips. Simple customer service goes a long way. After being argued with and going without food, we will no longer be customers of Robs BBQ.

My brother and I have been here several times. Last night the service and food were excellent, as always. Everything we have tried has been great. I know it's a BBQ place, and the BBQ is very good, but I recommend the fried catfish and the salad bar (both are all you can eat or not; your choice). They have all you can eat items and specials every night (check Facebook). I don't believe you will be disappointed with anything you order and the service will always be top notch!

We came here early for lunch while passing through. The food was phenomenal!! The service was great and she had some funny jokes. I cannot express how delicious the brisket was!! And the portion sizes we great. I’m so upset this place is 4 hours away. I’d definitely be a regular! I definitely recommend! I’m not usually one for smoked food or BBQ, try this place!
