Ruthie's Steak & Seafood

I tried to place an order to pick up and was told they were too busy to take my order. Poor service. Not accommodating

Just had a wonderful time at Ruthie’s! Everything was on point and the best experience with the best food and experience. Service and good food and management were what I remember from my first experiences of fine dining. Well done!

Everything was perfect. We had between us, wedge salad, caeser salad, prime rib, filet medallions with shrimp, and mashed pitatoes. The atmosphere, service, and food, were all top notch. If you want some spectacular table presentation this might not be the place for you, but if you want very premium food, professional staff and I quiet, intimate dinner, you couldn't do better than Ruthies.

Overall very happy with the experience. Good atmosphere, good food and especially good service. Jerra was our waitress and she was fantastic. Hard to find good service even in high end restaurants and she really went above and beyond.

From greeting, through the meal and the finish it was handled in a professional manner. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The evening was paced very nicely, and the food was done very well. Nice place for special occasion.

Everything was great. The service was excellent. The only thing that was a problem there was a group of people were making a lot of noise but it sound like they were just having fun. They would not stop me from coming back again.

Most of my meal was not good. Only part of the meal that was correct was the salad. Cocktail order came incorrect, prime rib was cooked incorrectly and the coffee was delivered cold twice.

We ordered a 6oz filet Minton and the Maryland steak and a side of the Mac n cheese. Both were amazingly cooked, the sauce that the filet was cooked with had so much flavor, probably my favorite part. Our waiter was very kind, checked on us frequently and topped off our wine every time he came by. We were also able to get in earlier than we had reserved (we would have waited of course but they had seats and accommodated us happily). We also had a food credit from the resort that our waiter was able to apply without any trouble. Overall it was a great experience. The price for everything was fine and with a quality place you have to expect somewhat higher pricing. We spent roughly $150 for both steaks the side and a bottle of wine.

Great food and experience. Likely the nicest/finest restaurant in Southern Illinois currently. The gambling was not so great, as there was zero Black Jack tables to play on. All full. Walkers Bluff needs to open at least 3 more Black Jack tables on Friday/Saturday nights.

Steak quality wasn't the best. The sauce was way too salty. The baked potato was cold. He wouldn't even melt the butter. The other side dish was so so the salad was wonderful. The service was great. The ambience was super. The appetizer of crabcake was good. Overall, I would rate it a Three out of five for the price I would not recommend

Very nice place. I ordered the ribeye topped with crab lump. Melt in your mouth delicious. I would say it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. Service was wonderful, will be back to try more delicious dishes.

We have traveled all over the United States and this is by far the BEST steaks we have ever had!!! The ambience is amazing with each table having a certain amount of privacy!! The staff is absolutely fantastic, especially Jaron, our waiter, who has served us on several occasions!! The steaks are of amazing quality and cooked perfectly!! They absolutely melt in your mouth!! The bar located in Ruthie's is also outstanding, with drinks made exactly as requested! The bartenders are also very knowledgeable when asked for recommendations! I guess it's easy to say, Ruthie's is definitely our favorite!!!
