“This place is great. The food is always good and I've not had a bad meal there once. Service has always been fast and friendly. My only complaint about the "Atmosphere" is that it can sometimes feel a little cramped.Parking: It's a shared parking lot and it can get a little full around lunch time.“

“My husband has been coming here since high school in the 1990’s - always raved about it. We’ve been coming together since we met 11 years ago. The food never disappoints and portions are huge! Our server, Sammie, has been here forever and is WONDERFUL!!! My husband travels to New York often for work and says the Canteen corned beef is even better than the famous Katz’s Deli in NYC!!! “I had breakfast here on a Wednesday and Saturday morning. Both times were peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I enjoyed the service and my order was ready in a fair amount of time. I first had the veggie bliss omelette and the berry bliss pancakes. The omelette was satisfying and the berry bliss pancakes stood out on their own. The fruit and sweet glaze did not require any additional syrup and made for some delicious pancakes. I liked the barbacoa skillet the second time around. I think the meat could have had a little more seasoning , but the side of sour cream and picante sauce helped bring more flavor to the skillet. This time I had plain pancakes and they were no were as good as the berry bliss! Triple Berry is a solid breakfast spot for some good eats.“

Decent size portions. Ok prices. Service is hit or miss. Service used to be “top notch” but during the past year they seem to have some younger servers that don’t seem to care, and service has dropped a bit during the past year. Especially the greeters on busy weekends.Kid-friendliness: We have a 3 year old and 4 year old. Server was extremely nice and friendly to our children. Nice staff! ❤️❤️❤️“

“Southern Belle's is hands down the best breakfast restaurant in the area. EVERYTHING on the menu is just packed with flavor. We've never been disappointed. It is all made to order so if you don't want green peppers in the hash, no problem! Want the jalapeños grilled a little bit? Easy. Want Cinnabomb pancakes as your side instead of regular? Do it. The specials are always enticing but all of the standard menu is also dynamite.So many favorite dishes. The Dirty Bird, the Biscuit Omelette, the Catfish & Grits, even the simplicity of the French Lady: french toast with eggs and bacon/sausage. Currently loving the Fig & Pig. The pumpkin pancakes, when in season, are honestly the best I've ever had.We have always had impeccable service and delicious meals. The dining room never feels crowded, even on a Sunday morning. “I just wanted to have lunch and the place down the street was packed, so I walked in and got seated immediately, I ordered a burger and coffee, and appreciated the choice of a cup of soup instead of the usual french fries. Quiet...I guess they do a lot more business for breakfast, but in this case it was just what I needed.“
“This was our first time hear and we enjoyed the nice casual breakfast. I got the Denver skillet and my husband got the ribeye breakfast. Both were great I got a vanilla latte and it is one of the best I have had in a while. The fresh orange juice was yummy! If you are looking for a great breakfast place this is the place to go. Also lots of families so it seemed like kids loved it as well.“
“The food always comes out fast and it's incredible. I haven't ordered anything here that I don't like. They also have great cocktails. The wait staff is always incredibly friendly and polite. The restaurant and the restroom are always incredibly clean. It can be a bit busy in the mornings on the weekends. I would definitely recommend, they also have an ever changing specials menu. I would give it five stars but it's getting four because I live too far away this spot is a real brunch winner though!“

The benedict with grits was much better than I expected and absolutely filled me up before I could even think about the pancake. “I love this place! I visited with a friend for the first time on March 23. I ordered the chicken chilaquiles, which was delicious - great flavors, perfect spice and generously portioned. As good as the food was, the highlight for me was the fantastic latte art! After I told our server, Nate, about my quest for great latte art, a super talented employee named Joy presented me with the best latte art I've ever had -- an animal! It was truly impressive! Nate was also fantastic -- very friendly, helpful and attentive. Overall, he and Joy provided the best service I've had anywhere in quite awhile. Kudos to both of them for a great experience!“
“We have now been here twice while visiting my son and future daughter-in-law in Machesney Park. After the first time, my husband insisted that this become a ritual when we go to visit because this place was that good. The coffee is very good, which is unusual and a lot of restaurants, the staff is amazing, and we have thoroughly enjoyed every dish that we have eaten there, including my son and future daughter-in-law. Yes, the price may be a little higher than some restaurants, but the atmosphere and the food is totally worth it. We only have one suggestion, put in some sound proofing materials so that it’s not quite so noisy when the restaurant is full. We will definitely be back! ❤️“
“Eggville is the best place around for breakfast or lunch. There are many creative and well-prepared choices available, all with fresh ingredients and lots of care. The Cobb salad is superb, as are the many pancake, crepe, and egg dishes. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is also super clean, and the only thing you'll regret is not dining there every day!“
