Cracker Barrel's breakfast is never a disappointment, with the right portion of fluffy, golden hash browns, and a warm, crumbly biscuit and gravy served with some old-fashioned scrambled eggs. The eggs were fresh, the bacon had that satisfying snap, and the hash browns were seasoned just right. That biscuit? Honestly, not the best breakfast I had, but was satisfying eating at this restaurant.

Our family of grandparents, parents and grand daughter travel to Troy, Illinois for the great breakfast experience that always involves a trip to the gift shop. Who can resist that inventory? Not my grand daughter or myself 😉

Store outside of restaurant smells musty. Sirloin steak tips tasted slightly like Salisbury steak. My husband liked the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Baby carrots and green beans were good. Waitress was very nice and helpful.
