The food is very good, and the prices and portions are very fair.

This Chinese restaurant exceeded all of my expectations. The food is bursting with authentic flavors and prepared to perfection with a very affordable price.l. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of spices was just right.

The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. If you’re looking for incredible Chinese food, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

The noodles, rice combos and stir fried veggies are pretty great, especially for the price.

Parking: The closest street parking spots are along Fifth St to the south. You'd need to walk a few blocks during busy times.

This is the first time I have seen such halal minced meat and eggplant. . .
Tried the eggplant with grounded pork. Barely any pork in it.

Just so so (一般般). The lady up front taking doesn't speak Chinese. That makes you wonder how authentic the cooks are ?. Ordered the cumin lamb which I've had a thousand times in China (孜然羊肉), and it's never breaded over there. That makes me wonder if it's really lamb? ? Ordered the dry fries four season beans 干煸四季豆. I've had them a million times in China. This place cuts them up into 1" pieces, and they're not cooked in with the spices and chili's like they do in China.
I'll sum up my review in 3 simple words: 不好吃. The pics on the wall look nice but it's not 正宗的. And for the subpar Chinese that you get, it's certainly 太贵了

The food was ok. I don't mind with a self-serve restaurant, but i do mind when the person who greeted you was curt when you entered the store that you had never been.

i got the noodles with hot fried garlic sauce and it was delicious! the price was great and it was a big portion. the wide noodles were so fresh and soft and soaked up the sauce, which was aromatic with fresh garlic, chili flakes, & scallion. the service was great and i would definitely go again!

The ladies at the counter were very nice and the food was really tasty with huge portion sizes and good prices. We recommend the fried beef noodles and noodles with hot fried garlic sauce.

The food is okay, but the middle-aged female cashier at the counter, wearing a hat and glasses, often has a very bad attitude. She judges your order, refuses some basic services, and even shouts loudly. Her service attitude is the worst I have ever seen on campus. This restaurant is about to close at the end of May, and I think it's a good thing because such a service attitude cannot continue to exist.

Staying and dining in Urbana/Champaign for over 20 years, La La Noodle has been the first choice of my husband and myself. Although this restaurant sounds like only serving noodles by name, it has actually a large variety (or almost the full spectrum) of professionally cooked Chinese dishes. The food is super delicious, and the price is very reasonable. The photos showing here are two of our favorite dishes: Fried Beef with Green Onions (葱爆牛肉) and Hot Spicy Whole Fish (香辣全鱼). As with many other dishes in this restaurant, they are nicely cooked and very tasty. I highly recommend La La Noodle for Chinese food. I think it is one of the best Chinese restaurants in this area, with lower price than most others.

The woman at the front desk is rude, judgmental and racist. She criticized the customer for the number of dishes they ordered and their food allergy. The dining tables were left dirty, which makes me concerned about the sanitation in the kitchen. Their employee seems to be particularly arrogant to Chinese customers.

Dietary restrictions: They do not respect the dietary restrictions and even criticized the customers for that, which is unusually unprofessional.
