The food is great and their staff is super helpful.
I had an event for a group I was meeting and Dish Passionate Cuisine came to my rescue DAYS before! The food was so tasty and many of the attendees commented on how good it was. Set up was done when I arrived and everything was handled so professionally. I HIGHLY recommend this local business.
Fabulous food and venue!!❤️
Trying to find information on them... wanting my wedding and reception at City View... Their website takes me to an online pharmacy - straight to viagra. I googled the number and the business is coming up as temporarily closed. Maybe I won't be having my events at City View. Seems like the terminal is losing a lot of opportunities while doing business with this clown.
I was looking into having a surprise birthday party for my daughter to take place on June 3rd, so I booked City view banquet for my event. They have their in house caterer which is dish passionate cuisine. I met with Colleen on April 11, after our meeting she told me that she would contact me on that Wednesday with a proposed menu. After a week from not hearing back from her I emailed her on April 18th, basically just letting her know that I had not received the proposed menu and when should I expect it. I still did not get a response so I called a couple of days later , left her a voicemail and sent a text, still no response. I called the event manager at Cityview to let her know that I was having a hard time getting in touch with Colleen. The event manager said that she would try as they have had a lot of complaints concerning her lack of communication. Colleen finally contacted by via email me on April 27th discussing the menu and for me to reach out if I had more questions, I replied to her email about the menu and could she let me know about certain dishes. I also asked her what was the best way to communicate with her since I was unsuccessful by via email, telephone or text. No response again from her. I tried to contact her for another couple of weeks but to no avail. After looking at my previous emails, this is the same caterer that never contacted my family and I for a previous event a few years ago and we had to find another venue. I finally had to put my foot down and tell the event manager that I wanted a refund for the room rental because my event was 3 weeks away and I had nothing set in stone. The event manager tried to reassure me that I would have food for my event but how could you reassure that if the caterer never responses to even know what I want. Dish passionate cuisine has the WORST customer service I have ever had and I will never spend one cent with them!! I had to find a new venue and caterer within 3 weeks because of their lack of professionalism!!

Always there when we need them with quality food and service
Wish we could rate Dish Passionate Cuisine a 10/5. We purchased the boxed meal (sandwiches) for our very small reception. Just sandwiches with hummus fruit, Charcuterie and cheese and olives right? Nooooo! It was Amazing! All of our guests also loved the food. Hummus was to die for! The cupcakes were incredible. You can tell how much work has been put in from the presentation to the taste. Have and will recommend widely! The quality of this food is is so much higher than the cost.
Exceptional baked goods and catering

We originally had booked our wedding reception at the City View Terminal in Champaign, IL, therefore were using Dish Passionate Cuisine for catering since that is their primary location. We had worked with Colleen to get everything squared away. However, we had to change our reception date and eventually the venue location due to the COVID 19 pandemic. When we had to change the date and the venue later on, we had reached out to Colleen. She was very difficult to get a hold of. She would not answer emails in a timely fashion and didn't return calls back, whether it was from myself or my parents. She would text occasionally when we called her and she was unavailable, but extremely brief and vague. We started to feel the crunch time pressure of changing the location and wasn't sure if she was going to respond. Once we heard from Colleen she was accommodating and was willing to work with us so we could change the menu to fit an outdoor location better. The day before our outdoor "I Do-BBQ" reception, Colleen's sister Liz came out to see the area and make sure all of our questions were answered. The day of the reception, Liz was the one who came out with the staff. They were super prompt and very professional. If there were questions on the food, Liz would either be able to answer right away or get the answer super quick. The staff was great. They were filling coolers, which wasn't their job, to help us out and make sure our guests were taken care of. The food was ready on time and Liz kept checking in with my parents and myself to ensure everything was going well. They had boxed up all the leftovers and made sure we knew where they were before they left. The food was outstandingly good!! So many of the guests commented on how delicious the food was! Definitely a good choice. The day of service and food was amazing. The communication during the planning was not good and definitely frustrating. Would recommend because the food was great but would warn brides to stay on top of communication. I want to give a 4-star review, except with all the stress of changing a wedding during a global pandemic and having to pretty much hunt down the caterer, while being on the verge of possibly finding a new one, was extremely frustrating.
My extended family suffered a great loss, and I was planning to take them a meal from Dish. Then I had an emergency and Dish offered to deliver. They did and the family was grateful and so was I. I heard amazing reviews about the food tonight. Thank you for everything you do!
Excellent catering options, and during the pandemic, perfect curbside pickup options for when you are tired of cooking. Highly recommended over and over!
Colleen and Liz are wonderful to work with. I use them monthly for a community event. They are so supportive of our community, creative, flexible and have amazing food.
Dish catered our wedding a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have been happier with the buffet menu and passed appetizers. Everything was so delicious and flavorful and our guests were very complimentary of the meal!It was such a pleasure working with Colleen too. She is the friendliest and most professional there is! She helped us construct a menu that provided a great experience for our guests and fit our taste. From our initial taste test to the final menu, she made every stage of planning seamless and fun.The Dish Passionate Cuisine crew is the best there is when it comes to catering! :)
