Reviews for Maize at the Station

This like the fanciest Mexican restaurant in town. It's unique from its location in an old train station to the fact that it's the only place that serves nopal, at least from those places we have been. The service was excellent, fast and accommodated some special requests. Food was delicious and finely presented. Things we didn't like are: the lack of decorations- when I go to a Mexican restaurant I want to feel I'm in Mexico- and the small plates, our food kept falling on full review

A little different take on Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex. More authentic. Nothing was very spicy from what the three of us ordered. The carnitas taco and quesadilla were very flavorful.Prices were reasonable except I thought$10 for guacamole was pricey (but it tasted good and was a generous serving)The mushroom tacos were full of flavor and textureVery helpful staff.

It was a complete disappointment today. We ordered taco dinner and fajitas. Both dishes were tasteless. The food used to be tasty and we ordered many takeout during the pandemic. But apparently it has gone downhill, all the way to the bottom. The steak, the chicken and the pastor were all over cooked and dry.On top of the tasteless food, the manager was completely rude. One person in our party questioned about the price of the veggie taco costing the same as the shrimp taco full review
