It has been a seriously long time since I've been to Steak and Shake. This store was surprisingly clean. The cashier is gone. The wait staff is mostly gone. Whether you are dining in or taking it to go, you order on a screen and then wait. The drink towers are self serve by scanning your receipt. The food is mostly the same. On this night, the food was fresh and tasted as expected (good). I got neither shake nor steak but the bacon double cheeseburger was good.

Would like to give a huge shout out to Xavier in town for a basketball game. Decided to stop here. Customer service was amazing. Food was very fresh Xavier was very friendly. Thanks for making my family’s night.

There's nothing particularly remarkable about this place. The customer service is decent. We haven’t dined in, but I do order the chili with noodles—the noodles, however, have a bit of a tap water taste.
