In the area visiting customer. They suggested Cornett's for lunch. Great local watering hole. Mexican food lunch specials were delicious (I had Taco Salad). Portions were generous and service was good. Was there for lunch on a customer visit,, but sure looked like it would be a good place to have some cocktails.It was clean and well kept. Friendly service.
I keep trying to like it, I really do. I'm just not local enough? I can never get a normal height table with my kids, the food takes a very long time to get, and it's a grease bucket. Great bar, not ao great as a restaurant.
We stopped in for Tenderloin Tuesday after hearing about this place in one of the pork tenderloin groups. I have to say it was delicious! I got a half sandwich, while the men with me got the full. It was crispy, crunchy and extremely flavorful. I like mine with lettuce and mayo, which they happily made that way. It was empty when we got there at 11:15 but by noon, the whole place was packed. Would definitely recommend stopping in if you're ever in the area!
