Wonderful breakfast place! We highly recommend the Swedish pancakes and the biscuits and gravy. They also served me the best hash browns I've eaten in many years. Ask for them extra crispy!

Nice little place to grab breakfast! Rating 4 instead of 5 due to spotting a couple bugs roaming in the lobby on my last visit, I think they need to either deep clean or clean more frequently. Otherwise, decent cafe :)

Great place for breakfast. Very nice and friendly customer service, delicious food at a reasonable price. We ordered an omelette and a skillet and our food arrived very quickly and it tasted delicious. I highly recommend this place and I plan to return for their special Friday fish fry. Revision: and we did return last Friday for the fish fry, which was delicious by the way. Highly recommend it and the salmon was also good as was the shrimp dishes we ordered. Our server was very nice and our dishes didn’t take long to come hot and steamy from the kitchen. And we get a chance to talk to Ben, the owner of this lovely family owned business. We’re looking forward to another visit once we are back in the area. And we are now back having tilapia and cod, fish fry, delicious, worth a trip to this restaurant !

An old school diner. The staff is quite friendly and aren't afraid to laugh with you. The food is good! It's not going to make your taste buds explode BUT it is a satisfying meal. Breakfast is the best time to go!

Ok place...couldn't believe at noon we were the only ones in there for about 10-15 minutes..prices seemed a bit much for the amount of food my daughter got..this is the Monte cristo..it was pretty good.
Nice casual small town atmosphere with plenty of space. Staff was very friendly and sat us right away. Pancakes were a 10/10 and I don't say that often! Drove 10 min from Norwegian Restaurant who apparently had a 45 min wait all day, and after eating we are glad we did. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town!

I have found a fantastic breakfast place in a beautiful small town called Cherry Valley near Rockford, Illinois. I ordered a waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage and bacon. The food was excellent! My waffle was perfectly crispy on the outside and the syrup was warmed! Thank you Cherry Valley Cafe! I live in Texas and I hope to come back here again someday.
