The servers work very hard and the cooks are excellent. Owner is very approachable and a good guy. Get on their text list so you know when the smoked corned beef reubens are available! “My boyfriend and I were planning a road trip and searched for restaurants along our route. The photos for this restaurant on Google drew our eye so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and just as beautiful as in the photos. We'll definitely be back again!”

“I go here often for my girls and for my company. It's usually very quick. There was one time I waited almost an hour for my pick up order and when I asked about it the young lady was very nice and asked me my name. I told her and then nothing another 30min rolls around and I ask her again and she goes and tells another young lady and she comes up and asks me if I checked in on the app. I told her no, I don't have the app. And she said they only go in order from check in on the app. I told her I had told the young lady who was boxing orders my name and then everyone after me had gotten their orders and left, and I was still standing there (with a baby) and she just gave me an attitude. So I left. Other than that one experience, most of my visits are very quick and easy to get in and out.”

“Have visited twice now and both times were fabulous. First visit, my husband and I were out chasing the full moon to get some good pictures and spotted this place on our mad dash. We circled back and stopped in to check it out. Immediately loved the atmosphere ~ relaxed and very inviting. We weren't even hungry and thought we'd just take a gander at the menu and maybe get a take out appetizer but it smelled so tantalizing we opted to seat and have a full dinner. It did not disappoint. So good in fact, when my friend's birthday rolled around I said I wanted to take her out to this great place I recently discovered. With a backdrop of enjoyable music and lovely decor as well as great service and delicious food, Vanakkam India is a real winner. Will definitely return.”

They went out of their way to correct an issue that wasn’t even their fault! To me, that means more than the food being good. Their salads make me feel responsible, their burgers make me forget I was trying to be, and the fries? Let’s just say they disappear faster than my willpower. “We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. This is a restaurant we will truly miss being so close to the day we decide to move.”
