The Crab Rangoon pizza is so fire!! I hope you keep it on the menu!!
We have an event on December 21. I tried to make a reservation for 6 pm and I was told they don't take reservations on Saturdays if it's after 3:30 pm. What the heck?
We've tried to get in on a Friday and they were slammed, couldn't get in without a reservation. I was told that they do take reservations. One would assume that if they take reservations on a Friday, they would take them on a Saturday.
Apparently they don't, except for lunch.
Ridiculous.

Woodfire Rockford is a welcoming restaurant known for its friendly host and attentive waitstaff. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, filled with the enticing smell of wood-fired ovens. The food is amazing, offering a variety of options, including pizzas like the fantastic caprese and pepperoni pizza, along with the margherita pizza and a delicious Caesar salad. The crust is delicious, made fresh with quality ingredients, including fresh mozzarella. The fries with truffle salt are wonderful, and all dough is freshly made, even in appetizers like the burrata and bruschetta. The seared octopus appetizer, featuring blistered cherry tomatoes, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle, is a standout dish. Service is awesome, and it's a nice change from the usual Midwest flat crust or deep dish. While the pizzas are good-sized, making for potential leftovers, the only downside mentioned was the lack of seating while waiting during busy times. Overall, dining at Woodfire Rockford is definitely worth the money.
