“Delicious! The, "Hot J**** isn't crazy hot. It has a nice heat with massive flavor. The Taste of Jamaica is a decent size portion with chicken and sweet, fried plantain over rice with pigeon peas. The only , "negative" would be that the spring roll is mostly rice. It would be better with more chicken. But the flavors are always spot-on. The sauces are fruity, vinegary, herby, and spiced all at the same time. The mild had very little heat while the hot is a middle spice. Grab a jar of the j*** sauce to take home!”

When I showed up to pick up the food he had a full sample waiting for me to make sure I was satisified, and waited to shut down until he knew I was completely taken care of. We had more than plenty of food, and his whole team worked together to make sure we had everything we needed. I didn't expect to find a Texan out here in Rockford churning out some top notch BBQ, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you're in the area I would highly recommend making this a go to spot for lunch or dinner.”

I'm already paying $0.90 cents for steak. And another $0.90 cents for the rice and sauce I but I get way less food than if I were to order beef instead. A manager must work around this time who's a real stickler on portions. But every other item is great and every time I go the workers are wonderful. The food is really good. That's my only complaint is all the empty tortilla I gotta bite through to get a bite with some food. Hope this can change in the future”

My only complaint is there was so much cheese I could barely taste the tomato sauce. There was an option for extra sauce that I didn’t choose. Honestly, I’m such a big fan of cauliflower based pizza that I was just happy they sold it. The ranch dressing must be in house made because it was delicious. The salads were small but priced as small so I just ordered two and it worked out.

“I came here on Monday. Was greeted by a young woman who was also my server. She was very attentive and also very helpful to as many people who needed it. I ordered 4 rolls for my brother and I. She made sure they were rolled correct due to a gluten allergy. Service was a 10/10 and so was the food though I did notice my server Jazmin was serving multiple different tables, packing to go orders, answering the door and answering the phone. The owners were sitting at the bar and not even helping at all, you’d think that they would since this is their business. I would say come here if you’re okay with waiting some time for your rolls and also be nice to your severs, I could tell she was working extremely hard and didn’t give a single person any attitude.”

“Wow one of the BEST Italian & steak restaurant establishments. I'd give 5 stars on everything but only say service a 4 bc we were there, taking our daughter & her fiancé, out for their 30th bdays, along with her sis & newlywed hubby. Although it wasn't acknowledged, though I mentioned at reservations & directly to server, of our celebration dinner? Atmosphere same reason, only since our preference, of the music playing was ok. Otherwise that aside for sure, we will be coming back absolutely. Food & staff were excellent besides!”

“I dropped by yesterday afternoon as a tourist looking for a cop of coffee. People here are super friendly and they show me the way to the nearest roaster. When we learn that roaster is out of business hour, they send me a cup of coffee for free.”

“Met some friends for a late dinner. I had shrimp tacos. Something new for me. Nice, casual atmosphere. Clean and inviting place. My food was delicious. I enjoyed the chocolate cheesecake for dessert and found prices to be really reasonable. Would go again when in Rockford.”

“me and my partner stopped in a little late earlier and even though they were kind of busy for the staff they had on board the service was great. riley helped us at the counter and he was super nice and made us feel welcome the entire time we waited. wings were still crispy by the time we got home and delicious. thanks again to riley!! (or ryley, if my partner is correct... we had a debate on this).”

“I ate there tonight my first time unbelievably awesome food. I ate the Italian beef on garlic bread and a cannoli. We also had the onion cilantro, steak tacos. Everything was perfect and very tasty. Will definitely go back. There are menu. Options are huge.”
