Wow one of the BEST Italian & steak restaurant establishments. I'd give 5 stars on everything but only say service a 4 bc we were there, taking our daughter & her fiancé, out for their 30th bdays, along with her sis & newlywed hubby. Although it wasn't acknowledged, though I mentioned at reservations & directly to server, of our celebration dinner? Atmosphere same reason, only since our preference, of the music playing was ok. Highly recommend! From appetizers to drinks to salads to main courses, everything was prepared with excellence and care. On top of that, our server was the perfect balance of attentive and friendly, while giving us plenty of time to enjoy each other.

The place is beautiful! Our server Chelsea was fantastic!! I had the Salmon, best salmon I’ve had in Rockford!!! Jeremy had the NY Strip, perfectly cooked and juicy as can be! We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. Just wow! And the bread and olive oil……my mouth is watering typing this. Get there!!!

The friendly and organized staff, including the chef and owner, provide attentive service. The Cajun seafood pasta stands out, and wine and cocktail pairings enhance the meal. Bread and garlic are also highly praised. However, some items like cheesecake, certain beers, and drink ingredients are often unavailable, especially on busy days, which can be disappointing. The seating includes metal chairs that some find uncomfortable, and the restaurant's signage has been updated after three years. Despite these issues, many guests enjoy the warm atmosphere and flavorful food. The owner's personal touch adds to the inviting environment, making Prime Steakhouse a place worth visiting again.
