Asked for medium well for both steaks and the sirloin came out well done. Steaks were not seasoned good and relied heavily on the reduction sauce for favor. Mashed potatoes and broccolini was decent. Ordered a side of salmon and it was also not seasoned well. Spent $160 and it was not worth it

Was in the other evening for a company dinner with our out of town guests. prearranged menu which was fine, but only 1 pasta dish availableAppetizer consisted of calamari, garlic shrimp, and 1 piece of lobster bruschettaCalamari and shrimp very good, i gave my lobster appetizer to an associate to enjoyI ordered the ribeye with garlic mashed and asparagus for my entreeThe ribeye here is absolutely the worst in the area. the quality of the ribeye was definitely on the cheap side and was tough, was not allowed to have it cooked any other way but medium to medium well, not seasoned at all, and not 1 bit of char on it, only ate a couple bites of it and i brought the rest home to chop into smaller pieces for tacosGarlic mashed was not very good either, definitely not a smooth consistently and had a very grainy texture to it. Asparagus was on the cold side and lacked flavor alsoDesert was a vanilla bean cheesecake creme brulee. no flavor with only a taste of sweetness from the top caramelized sugar topping

We had an awesome experience at Prime recently. We went for dinner prior to heading to a performance and we're so happy we chose this restaurant. Tim was an excellent server - great knowledge of the menu, paced our appetizers/entrees/dessert perfectly, was attentive to our needs and had us on our way when we said we needed to leave.The four of us split the lobster bruschetta and caprese skewers, along with the warm bread and accompanying garlic spread - fantastic start to our meal. Two of us had the sea bass and the other two had the filet/filet medallions - all entrees and side items were exceptional! Our cocktails and wine paired perfectly with each course. We could not have had a better experience, and we will definitely return. Our thanks to Tim and everyone at Prime for such a wonderful evening!

A hidden gem in Rockford. From the appetizer, to the entrees, to dessert with coffee (French press), was delicious. Had the Cajun seafood pasta no Cajun seasoning and it was by far the best pasta I’ve ever had. The owner even stopped by to say hello!

Very nice upscale small restaurant, not much room but the quality of it all was great. The waiter was great too, very friendly. The food was great very tasty and the Broccolini was season good, the ribeye steak was different but worth it bcuz I do different. The burnt on the scallop potatoes was the bomb. The drink was tasty just needs it to be a little alcohol that’s all. But we enjoyed it and will return soon ✌?& KIM

I'd give 5 stars on everything but only say service a 4 bc we were there, taking our daughter & her fiancé, out for their 30th bdays, along with her sis & newlywed hubby. Although it wasn't acknowledged, though I mentioned at reservations & directly to server, of our celebration dinner? Atmosphere same reason, only since our preference, of the music playing was ok. Otherwise that aside for sure, we will be coming back absolutely. Food & staff were excellent besides!

PRIME WAS DELICIOUS!!! It was Saturday night. My wife and I had reservations for 645pm they had our table waiting. We actually were let in what they jokingly called their VIP room. It was quiet. Our waitress Britanny was awesome she made sure we were comfy and had all the food we needed. My only slight complaint was I felt like she had forgotten us a couple of times, but that's me being picky. She was a great waitress. Get out to this boutique .STEAK HOUSE, it's a little gem hidden over by Cherry vail Mall. I promise between their great drink menu and the food being very tasty and hot and fresh you will see what I saw there, AWESOMENESS!@Vegetarian options: I saw many dishes marked V for vegan.Parking: There is a giant parking lot on the north side of buildingWheelchair accessibility: Very easy for handicapp here

Also, why was my steak absolutely drowning, like my plate was 90% sauce and.. cheese? I’ve never had a Parmesan crust on a steak that was literally a mound of soggy shredded cheese. Honestly I didn’t even realize it was supposed to be a crust until I went back and looked at the menu just now. I feel like the cook was trying to hide the fact that they overcooked my steak. Listen, I still ate it, it was fine. However, I did have a grasshopper that was awful. It was straight vodka. WHO USES VODKA IN A GRASSHOPPER. Please just make it with crème de menthe like you’re supposed to. Please try your version of it compared to how you’re really supposed to make it because I don’t think you understand the difference. Server was VERY nice tho

I was a bit skeptical with the less than stellar reviews but wanted to give this place at least one try. Should have known. My husband ordered his steak medium and it was served well done. The server kindly took it back and brought him a complimentary drink while he waited for his replacement steak to be cooked, which we appreciated. My pasta was OK, good but not great. The creme brulee was very odd. It was more like a cheesecake as it had a crust and was not served in a bowl. It tasted like flour. The drinks were good. Unfortunately we just expect more from a $130 meal. We likely will not return. We miss Five Forks!!

I would like to try this prime steakhouse but based on alot of negative reviews and the expense I will probably pass. Sorry.So i did try this steakhouse. Decor and service was very good. The food was underwhelming for sure. Re-heated mashed potatoes, luke warm. Shrimp scampi super bland, luke warm. 6 oz filet i swear was sirloin, never had a filet so chewy. Calamari was okay. For the price the food is better at longhorn steakhouse easily. I wont be back thats for sure

The atmosphere is very nice. The bar chairs and table chairs are very uncomfortable. Tables are close together for a table of 2. Service was excellent from Brittany. Had to ask her, what her name was though. My medallions were over cooked. Wanted med rare. They were well. She did give me another serving. Better..the other entrées were good. But based on the seating I would not go back. Bathroom very clean..service was great. Old fashion very good.

To be honest I wasn't as impressed with the food as I expected to be. Their starter bread is good but they ran out of it before I got my food. But I do think the staff is very nice. Especially the gentleman at the front door, he was very nice and helpful. Our waitress was nice too but she could have checked on us more. I would go back to this restaurant but for drinks and appetizers only. My, then boyfriend, proposed to me here and this was a very nice place for that. If you're considering such a thing they have the perfect setup for it.
