My family went tonight for my brother's birthday. Great menu choices, even for kids. I tried their birria taco and grilled shrimp taco. My husband had the fajita, my kids tried the Texian taco. All of us thought the food was delicious. My mum and husband each got nacho chips with queso, so yummy! Definitely will be back.

The menu includes chicken fajita, dynamite shrimp tacos, BBQ brisket taco, grilled or crispy shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fajita options with chicken or steak, and breakfast tacos. The BBQ brisket taco is a standout: sweet, caramelized brisket with backyard slaw crunch and a hit of cilantro. The dynamite-style shrimp tacos bring a nice balance of spice, creaminess from the sauces, and freshness. Scratch salsas, including rojo and habanero, are available, along with chips and queso, salsas, and guacamole.
Portions are generous and right for street tacos, and prices are reasonable. The seating is comfortable, and the restaurant is clean. The food is described as delicious, unique due to flavors not found anywhere else, and better than food truck tacos by far. Rusty Taco is definitely a must try when in Rockford.
