“I revisited one of my old haunts from over 35 years ago and found the business is thriving. I strongly encourage you to make a reservation on a weekend. We were able to secure a spot in the bar. I started with a Bullet Old Fashion. The drink had muddled cherries and an orange slice topped off with a generous pour of bourbon. I order a Special Side Salad and a large A16 pizza. The salad was wonderful, the pizza just as I remembered. Again an excellent pie. We topped off the meal with a S'mores and Tiramisu gelato. Both really hit the spot. The bar and restaurant were at capacity and the service was very good. You won't be disappointed.“
“The building and the flooring aren't impressive, but the smell of those ovens when you walk in is enthralling. The service was really great, and the food was amazing. We had the Tuscan fries, the brucheta, a BBQ chicken pizza, a chicken bacon ranch pizza, a Margherita pizza, a loaded potato pizza, a salad, a creme brulee, 808 cheesecake, and a chocolate Gelato. “I ordered from them for the first time last night & I'm really upset that I didn't know about them sooner! We moved here in 2018 and it took THIS LONG?! I'm italian. Grew up on homemade Italian food. This place is AMAZING. the sauce gave me flashbacks to my Great grandma's. I had a little nostalgic moment with the first bite which, in my opinion, is the best compliment you can ever give a resturant. The canoli's still tasted great the next day. Not soggy like you find with previously frozen ones. My daughters birthday is coming up and I already have the menu picked out for what I want catered from them. Walking in there felt like home. “We ordered ahead 3 medium pizzas. A meat lovers, a cheese and a pepperoni. This was SO GOOD and the husband and I are huge pizza connoisseurs . I'm pretty sure my baby is made of 95% pizza lol. The service was fast and friendly. When we got there we loved how it looked like a mom and pop place. They had the football game going so we didn't miss out on our game! For my experiment, I'll be getting a plain cheese pizza from every place to be unbiased.Primo's has been one of my favorite places I have tried so far. The cheese was very tasty and the herbs on top really helped the pizza shine. The crust was a bit crunchy on the exterior and soft on the interior, very good for those who prefer harder crust. The sauce was excellent, a good balance of zesty and sweet, the sweetness really helped the pizza stand out among the others.Overall, Primo's is a very solid pick for pizza, and at 12$ for a Large pizza, easy on the pockets.“

We built a small menu and everyone couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. Specifically the mostaccioli and party pizza. “The pizza pub is smaller than what it looks like from the outside. Which isn't a bad thing. It is nice and cozy there. The bar is full, the waitresses is nice and friendly, and the music was great! When I went there, they didn't play any of the modern stuff that most places do.The pizza on the other hand was pretty good. I enjoyed it quite a bit with my amazing girlfriend. “What a hidden gem. My sister took me there after a very long road trip. She and her hubby took me there for pizza. We got there expecting pizza and got the most amazing fish fry instead. Being from Wisconsin home of the Friday night fish fry this rated among the top. More food then I can eat. The fish fry came with a great salad and of all things a dish of pasta. Wow the pasta was unusual. Perfect! The staff was very friendly treating everyone like a neighbor instead of a customer. The beer cold and the fish fresh out of the fryer none better. When down there for a visit I will be going back.“

Reviews were excellent and decided to go yesterday and was so happy we made the decision to try this pizza. The sausage pizza was absolutely delicious!!!!!! “This was my first time at Francesco's, so I was really excited to try it! It's always a busy place, so it can be a bit intimidating to think of waiting for a table or being in an overcrowded room. Not to worry, though, because it's a nice big place! The menu is excellent with a wide range of choices and the specials list had an awesome, seasonal selection too. I had the (special) grouper dish which was delicious with grilled vegetables and peaches, which was unusual and why I ordered it! It really worked! My companions had chicken parmesan and seafood risotto. While I was the only one in the clean plate club, the leftovers were happily boxed to take home! We had a wonderful service team of two, who were friendly and helpful and kept us well-watered and satisfied. Probably some of the best service I've had in Rockford! The only flaw in the evening was, even though this is a large place, the staff decided to seat a noisy table of children fresh from the soccer field in the middle of the room along with a higher table of their parental units next to them. As we were in Benny's (I think to manage on a Thursday night), the already loud room became cacophonous to the point of being unenjoyable. I can't imagine if I were here on a first date or romantic evening and had to deal with the noise level. Now, I don't think they should have turned this part away (and they may be a sponsor to the team or something) but it would have been nice if the management would have considered the other diners and seated this large, loud group in a place that didn't affect others so much. Frankly, it doesn't make me want to go back any time soon as our night ended on that note, which wasn't as pleasant as the rest of the experience.“

She was lscrambling and said she doesn’t have an order for us. We ordered it online and she found it. She gave us 3 bags. We wanted to open them to make sure everything was there. She said “ I personally bagged the order, it’s all there,” in a sarcastic tone. Okay since she’s the owner we took her word for it. Got home and we’re missing 4 items. Called her to credit the debit card and she said she couldn’t but can give us a gift card for the amount. Food was hot, quality was pretty good. But honestly I won’t ever go back. For being the owner, and a local restaurant she was not friendly and didn’t even Thank us when we left. She needs training on how to greet and thank her customers. Paninos…STEP UP YOUR GAME!“
“I was told that Gerry’s Pizza is amazing. Well it really isn’t. We tried it yesterday for the first time. We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“

“It was always my favourite restaurant. It is true that I do not visit it a lot since they stop servicing Brise beef tortellini.it was the best of the best, unfortunately they removed from the menu. They included it back again, and finally it is not in the menu anymore. That's why stopped eating at Olive Garden. But it is one of the nicer places to have lunch/dinner.“
“We hosted a birthday party at Sam’s recently, and it was a great experience! Gino, Joe and their staff were very easy to work with, accommodating and professional. The room was ready to go when we arrived for set up and Gino was very attentive through the duration of the party by checking on us, ensuring we had enough food and drinks, clearing plates, etc. If you are looking to host an event, we highly recommend doing it at Sam’s. Overall, great experience and the guests all agreed!“
