“My boyfriend and I were planning a road trip and searched for restaurants along our route. The photos for this restaurant on Google drew our eye so we decided to check it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and just as beautiful as in the photos. We'll definitely be back again!“

“Cool place. Located on the upper level of a multi-unit building, features a fully enclosed bar with indoor seating and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar, only me. Got a Monday burger special (Baker Street is closed Monday). Beer is a bit steep at $7.50 for a 16 oz. It looked like less than 16 oz with the tall and skinnier glass but I indeed confirmed with a pour of my pint-glass water into an empty. I recommend the Lucha Mexican with a slice of lime. Also fried the Lucha Lime, which was also good. Other beers are available, kind of hard to read on the tap handles as they’re handwritten in vertical print. Would have been nice to see the beers listed on the drink menu. I couldn’t find them anywhere.“

“We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. This is a restaurant we will truly miss being so close to the day we decide to move.“

“The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! We come to Rockford for soccer a few times a year. We will be back for sure!“

I am disabled and require the use of a service animal and the server and staff were amazing and even brought him out a bowl of fresh cold water with our waters! Our server, Ronald, was amazing and so respectful and accommodating:) The food was so good I wish I had been here sooner! I definitely plan on being back to try more of the menu especially now that I know how accepting and welcoming all of the staff are!! “I was told that Gerry’s Pizza is amazing. Well it really isn’t. We tried it yesterday for the first time. We asked for a very thin crust and while it was thin it wasn’t more so than any other thin crust. The sauce lacked flavor. It was at best bland. We asked for extra sausage & cheese. If what they gave us was extra I’d hate to see what regular cheese & sausage consisted of. The bigger letdown was the “Fresh Calamari.” This wasn’t fresh! It was straight from the freezer bag to the deep fryer. Breading was very institutional from a place like Gordon Food Service. The person that took my order over the phone and got my food for me was very nice. You get one chance to make a first impression. Gerry’s food fell far short.“

“Food is 10/10 and staff is very attentive and welcoming. Although breakfast/brunch can be busy on the weekends, staff seem to accommodate and move at an appropriate pace. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the iced coffee, but that could be a personal preference and not necessarily a reflection of their products. I recommend the churro waffles.“
