“The place was busy, I also didn't realize it has two seating areas and an upstairs with pinball. The beer was tasty and refreshing. The fried pickles were bomb af. The oyster mushroom po'boy was good, not great but decent. Prices were on the high side for Impossible patties & vegetables. All.in all, it was good for vegan bar food. I would go back. As a footnote, the service was pretty bad. Multiple times we were brought food we didn't order (i.e. someone else's food) or already received. The food took a long time, but like I said, they were busy, which is good.“

“Salamone’s has a great atmosphere for families or date night, great service, wonderful Italian selection for a menu, and if you need a cocktail they got you! They can get busy so reservation’s are recommended! The eggplant Parmesan is my favorite, but we have never had a bad meal here. Whenever we are back in town this is one of our stops for sure. If you have not stopped in be sure you do!“

“This is going to be one of those rare reviews for a brewery where beer is not the star. This is a MUST visit for the building and the seating on the river dock. Great place to grab a beer upstairs or down or even better to relax outside. I had the Screw City which is supposedly their most popular. It was ok but I will be back to try some others based on the great location.“

“There are several good pizza recipes in Rockford but Gulotta’s pizza stands out among all others; not only in terms of authentic flavor and fresh ingredients but in heart and soul. There’s more to a good pizza pie than what’s on the surface. I was 14 when I first had the Gulotta pizza experience. “We are out of towners and I'm so GLAD we picked this gem. I ordered the brisket sandwich, delicious although next time I'm getting the slaw on the side. We also ordered the fried pickle burger and sweet chicken burger, both awesome. The home cut fries damn good. The beer on tap and handcrafted mixed drink "Irish maid" were both on point, delicious. “I had been wanting g to try this place for awhile, I drive by it a lot and it's always packed. My son took me for my birthday because we heard it's kind of pricey so since it was a special occasion we could justify spending money we shouldn't be. I recommend making a reservation, we did and got seated immediately. Service was fantastic as well. It is pri etc for what you get though. I got the duck and my son got a lamb shank, neither had much meat to them for being 40 to 50 dollar meals. Overall we had an excellent experience and are glad we went. Oh they also put a firecracker in my birthday dessert, blackberry lemon cake, get it!“
