“We drive from Beloit. They treat everyone like family here. There are a lot of old timers, but if you have kids, don't let that deter you from stopping here. Most of them actually enjoy seeing the little ones! The food is delicious and affordable!Kid-friendliness: Super friendly!”

“The place was busy, I also didn't realize it has two seating areas and an upstairs with pinball. The beer was tasty and refreshing. The fried pickles were bomb af. The oyster mushroom po'boy was good, not great but decent. Prices were on the high side for Impossible patties & vegetables. All.in all, it was good for vegan bar food. I would go back. As a footnote, the service was pretty bad. Multiple times we were brought food we didn't order (i.e. someone else's food) or already received. The food took a long time, but like I said, they were busy, which is good.”

“I used to be a die hard subway dan, then I wanted a more homemade fresh tasting sub and I was off to find that shop. Visiting many small sub shops to big chain shops, then I was hooked on Jimmy John's for a while till I heard people brag about Jersey Mike's and saw commercials on social media so decides to stop in at my Local Jersey Mike's, the smell was awesome, people were friendly and place was clean, got the original italin with everything on it and man you can see the freshness and quality of the products, my first bite was truly amazing and brought me back to a time back in the late 80's to this small mom and pop sub shop by my house. I found my go to sub shop and I rate Jersey Mike's better than the sub shop currently in operation.”

“It's extremely loud in there, which is why I only get takeout (pick it up in the drive thru!), but the staff are friendly and smoothies are great! They do have some consistency issues -from one time to the next the same smoothie will taste/feel very different, but still enjoyable in it's own way.”

“Amazing restaurant, the workers were really nice, the food was good, and to top it off it was clean. Most chain restaurants are dirty and the food is mediocre. I was really surprised at how amazing this place was.Vegetarian options: They clearly tell you what is vegan and what is and what isn't, and if they don't say you can clearly look at the ingredients.”

“I ordered the good burger meal for my kid and asked the guy to do the thing and when we got to the window the young man did the thing. You know, “welcome to good burger, home of the good burger. Can I take your order?””

“This is our favorite place in town. A wonderful family place that has become our family. Great food great prices (remember their grocery costs have gone up like ours, and are in line with every smaller place). Their family is wonderful -salt of the earth people. They care for veterans and the community alike. They will cook your food however you want it. They had a long time customer pass away, and closed early one day to have a memorial service for him.Don’t miss the chance to eat here?I should revise my cost estimate. There are plenty of items < $10 We usually spend a bit more than that.”

“Blows Taco Hell away, in my opinion. I love Taco Johns. Wish they'd open another closer to my house. They, however, forgot to put sauce in the bag last time, tho. I was bummed about the missing sauce packets. Gotta have the authentic Taco John's taco sauce. You just gotta!”

“This was our first time in since the new owner took over last year. My kids both got hotdog meals. One with mac-n-cheese and one with the baked beans (their personal favorites). There wasn’t a bite left from either one! I decided on a 2 meat dinner with the beans and coleslaw. I got brisket to compare from my last visit. The flavor was as good as I remembered. I also decided to try the shredded chicken. Cooked great! Nice and juicy. Overall, I couldn’t find anything to complain about this visit. We’ll be back.”

“This review is for the awesome manager that was there at lunchtime today. The staff was swamped with both online and in-store orders; the busiest I have ever seen them! The service was slow, as it seemed they were short staffed or probably training new staff. But, the manager kept apologizing to people in the store (and some on the phone) and, most impressive, encouraging his employees and thanking them for his efforts. It was great to see! We had three orders in our group and one wasn’t exactly what she ordered (hence the 4-star rating). But the manager saved the experience for me!”
