We always go to Shogun when we got out on a date night and its always an amazing experience but last nights experience was over the top. We got a chef who interacted with us, tried getting to know us, had over the top manners. I recommend Ricardo and we will be asking for him everytime.
To some extent it appears that the chef you are assigned can take your dining experience from good to great. The good chefs leave you satisfied, while the great ones provide that extra notch of value. Our chef last night was great! We always order the dinner for two, upgrading to the filet, with scallops and fried rice. The scallops are the least consistent between chefs, but ours last night were some of the best ever!
