My husband and I are Commercial Drivers from Alabama, so we make it a point to eat at Portillo's whenever we're near one. We've enjoyed it immensely each time! We typically order hot beef sandwiches with hot peppers, fries with a side of cheese, and a chocolate malt. It's consistently amazing, and always a pleasure. Thanks!Food: 5/5
I donāt like that they donāt take their time with you and donāt confirm my order. Iāve gone twice this past week and both times my order was wrong. I wanted to try the strawberry shortcake since I never have, and they forgot it and then later on āreplacedā it when I let them know. I go home, itās chocolate. Anytime youāre near a Portillos stopping in for a bite to eat should be on your mind. The food is overall outstanding, best Italian beef Iāve had in all my travels. Theyāre Italian sausage, ranks in the top 5 for sure. Actually you wonāt find anything on the menu that isnāt delicious. With a large dine in area thatās comfy and surrounded by old time memorabilia, music from the 50s and 60s playing to give you a relaxing feel.
