“I've lived in Rockford for a little less than a year. I love Italian combinations and have tried them at quite a few places. I have to say, the one I got today at Luichi's is by far the best I've had yet. The beef meat was a little too rough, not too bad. But, it was really big, inexpensive and had great flavor. You even soaked the bread like I asked. I highly recommend this place. Thank you. I now have a go to place for my Italian beefs/ combinations. I haven't had a good one like this since I left Chicago in 2004.“
“You'll not find many differences between Culver's locations and that's a great thing.The food is always consistently quick, hot, and delicious. The service rivals that of a full service restaurant and the atmosphere is filled with gentle music and clean tables.You want this ol' bag of fertilizer to pick some nits? There seems to be only one non-carbonated, low sugar/calorie beverage option (at this location). I'm sure that's a niche choice and Doc Culver himself probably ran the numbers to decide against further options, but I'm just reporting what I'm seeing. “Tom & Jerry's is my favorite! The gyros are great, meatball sandwich and pizza puffs as well. Their oil they fry the pizza puffs in is so much cleaner than another nearby establishment that also sells pizza puffs. We go here frequently.“
“**Update** they replaced the salad bar with a grab and go wall of knickknacks and prepackaged food. The salad choices now are pre packaged, un-customizable messes. They now have a soda fountain in the lobby, so of course every kid wants to fill thier own creating a massive pile of people all fighting to get a refill. The salt and pepper shakers are gone as well.New onion ring are awesome! The rodeo burger is good but the bbq sauce tases like cocktail sauce mixed with ketchup.Good food with a friendly staff in a clean environment. Definitely will be returning and I highly recommend the Big Beef with mozzarella! Pickle spears on the side were crunchy and delicious. Fries were nice and salty and the onion rings were new to us, but very crisp.“
