Hot Dogs near Algonquin

“They have outstanding sandwiches. #18 is our favorite and is great as a salad, too, but you really can't go wrong. Everything is consistently delicious, high quality, and priced well!“

“Chubby's is a go-to, tried and true, can't go wrong option. They gyros cannot be beat, the salads are crisp and fresh, the souvlaki is perfection. The dinners have incredible portions. Whether it is a baked half chicken or a juicy burger, it's going to be delicious.

Bring back the watermelon tea!“

“Been working out of town and found this spot and didn’t look anywhere else, the food is delicious and the staff is awesome and personable! Sad to be leaving the area but if ever back around will definitely be stopping back by! Do not sleep on this place!“

“Great food, friendly staff! 🔥🍔🍟🌭🍗“

“Great gyro platter, enough for me and my HUNGRY boyfriend to share! Very friendly and courteous staff, highly recommend.“

“There are no words. Wonderful!!!“

“One of the best Italian beef sandwiches I’ve ever had. Service was extremely fast and friendly and we got our food within minutes.“

“ordered 2 chicago style hot dogs, Italian beef combo w/ mozzarella cheese and Giardiniera, jalapeño poppers and onion rings. $33.00 ☹️ the combo had barely any beef or Giardiniera on it. the onion rings were a big clump of a soggy greasy mess. the poppers were soggy too. They were not edible, threw them away. I don't know what happened, they used to be really good.“

“Such a charming little place with amazing food and an even better owner. You can tell he genuinely cares about what he does and the people who walk through his doors. He’s a great man, and it shows in the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a gem and a place worth supporting!“

“First time in. Wondeful experience. Gave the kid a task to find somewhere we don't have close to home. He found Beef Shack. Pull up to it and it was brightly lit in a strip of businesses. Looks inviting to go in. Menu was simple and easy to understand. Girl behind the counter was awesome, gave us recommendations, talked about the fries, the beef, the burgers, the deals. I went with Italian Beef, kid did a double cheeseburger, got fries and floats. Food came out fast, great quality, well packaged. Fries are delicious, dont pass them up. A large is Super Large, easy to share. Fries won, we couldn't finish them off. Italian beef was good. Whole muscle beef, sliced. Seasoning was spot on. Burger was good. He had done a double for the burger, it won, he couldn't finish it. Floats were good. I had red cream, kid had Rootbeer. Overall wonderful place, would highly recommend. Only downfall is its over a hour from home, otherwise their special deals looked really good for Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.“

“reasonable for the pasta!“

“Very clean fast food establishment with a drive thru, outdoor patio, and a spacious indoor venue to eat inside. Plenty of free parking. Huge menu. Very friendly staff no matter the time of day we visit. Some sandwiches include an order of tasty fries in the price and some of the sandwiches allow different choices of bread, buns, croissants, etc to make the sandwich the way YOU want it. If you have a question, just ask...the customer can usually be accommodated.“

“mmmm... mm.. so glad to have the privilege of residing at the home sweet home of the cheesy beef! The manager was super-duper-nice and the burger was super-duper-licious !! My son (shown in picture below) felt so inspired by this experience, he told me he wants to be a cheesy beef when he grows up! Well, you know what they say - like father like son!“

“Finally. After all this time, I finally found them. THE PERFECT FRIES. Your search can be over too of you come to beef shack.

They were pretty busy when I went but very friendly, clean, and dang they are slinging some great food.“
