“Great food. I used to come here regularly when I lived in the area. We stopped by while visiting family in the area. Food was still great and my kids loved his burger. We had an issue where my son's nose started bleeding and the staff went out of their way to help or see if we needed anything. It was a minor issue for us. But the staff went above and beyond in helping out. Very glad to be able to visit one of my favorite local places! The kids also loved the milk shakes. Looking forward to visiting again!!“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! “Massive Doener with the REAL Fladenbrot (type of flatbread) just like in Germany!! Super yummy Garlic sauce and the Pommes (French Fries) are phenomenal - try it like the Germans do in Red (ketchup) & White (mayo). Owners are amazing, super friendly and just great to talk to (for me in German = extra treat 🥰) Go and check it out - you won't be disappointed and will go back for more 😉“

“Great burger and Fresh-cut French Fries!! Nice service! We did not try the milk shakes or Root beer floats but they certainly looked tempting!! We got the large fries to share- they were hot and perfectly salty. I didn’t think we would make it through them but we certainly did! Check it out!“

“We were at Portillos Friday February 27 after our basketball game. My friends and I were celebrating my birthday. There was a minor accident in the parking lot so there was some chaos. The manager handled everything so well and even gave us a cake for my birthday. I am a Portillos stockholder and wish all managers were like this.“

“Went here for lunch one day overall had a good time. With some music in the restaurant and more seasoning on the food, Brown’s Chicken could really begin to make more of a name for themselves.

Building is starting to look a bit run down, but service was great and even with a slightly longer wait than my party anticipated, we were provided with biscuits and extra macaroni with our meal. I hope more businesses see that giving a little bit gains them more in the long run (unlike the McDonalds up the street).“
