“I always get it to go but they do have some tables there. The fiesta gyro (we minus the pepper flakes), Greek salad and the chicken pita (with chipotle ranch replacing the mayo) is our favorite. “Great service, friendly staff. Order was made exactly as I wanted it. Food was all made to order and was exceptionally fast. Atmosphere was great. They have the best pizza puffs, combos and dogs. The fresh cut fries are the best in town. Always have a great experience at scoobys.Kid-friendliness: They gave my son a free shake for being the winner of the hockey game and a Scooby shirt. “Consistently good burgers and spicy chicken sandwiches. I’ve tried their Philly cheese steaks as well, those are definitely made for a different type of Philly fan. They have way more seasoning than a normal cheese steak. Good in its own way.I get the spicy chicken sandwich withLettuce tomato and mayo. Sometimes I’ll get the spicy bumper sauce instead of the mayo depending on how much heart burn I’m willing to put up with ?Wasn’t too impressed with their tenders…Tables are definitely a little greasy sometimes.And the beef with lettuce tomato and spicy bumper sauce as well.“

“I hadn’t been here since I was a kid and it’s great to know this spot is still just as good. The burgers were fresh with good ingredients. The fries and new cheese curds also on point. The strawberry shake good, and the best root beer float around. Service was quick and very nice. The booths were clean. I fully recommend this A&W.“

“The teenager male with the glasses recommended the gyro pork kebab dinner we got that with rice and Greek salad he also recommended us a side of spicy feta. I didn’t catch his name but he was very patient and answered me and my husbands questions. It was also extremely busy the evening we visited and our food was out relatively quickly all the staff handled the extremity busy time really well. Thank you Nicky’s!“

“Ordered the Monday special which was two hotdogs, fries, and a drink. Also ordered a small cup of cheese sauce. Chicago style dog is decent, but doesn't have that classic snap like the Vienna beef dogs at Portillo's. Fries have a crispy exterior and fluffy interior. Fries were hot but not ripping hot like fresh from the fryer. Fries are mostly unsalted but there are salt packets at the counter.The atmosphere is quite lacking. One tv, no ambient music, and posters of Vienna beef and sausages.It's a small place that offers a variety of food options like tacos, gyros, burgers, and hotdogs. The price is reasonable and the food is decent, but nothing amazing stands out here.Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs for little ones.“

“This is such a treasure in the community! They have good tasting, quality fare at a reasonable price point. The restaurant always appears clean. The staff has got to be the best around...always friendly and pleasant. I really enjoy the gyro sandwich. I ask for extra meat and it's always so hearty and delicious! “Burger is BOMB. Ive never tried it before, but really it gives Culver’s a run for it’s money. I have to admit. The presentation is phenomenal. I just had a standard 4x4 Cheeseburger. The mini burger pair is really good sizing for 2 people.Straight to the point and the toppings really complete it. The guy at the counter is also very nice. I actually really like the kiosk ordering - im a visual person and like to just go at my own pace. The kiosk is a nice touch.“

“I wish i could give 5 stars because the food is absolutely delicious, but a few times I've stopped by during their business hours and there was no one there in the middle of the day, and not even a note on the door saying if they'll either be right back or that they're closed and sorry for the inconvenience. I'm sure they're short staffed but a bit of consideration towards the customers that enjoy coming here would be appreciated. Even if they had an open/closed sign on their window so i know before getting out of my car for the door to be locked. It has deterred me from driving out of my way to come grab food on my way home from work here, unfortunately. I'll still stop by if I'm passing, though. The food is great, however! Just a bummer about them being randomly closed.“

“Fast paced location but all Portillo’s are. Food is always fresh and tasty. Line moved right along and got to enjoy a burger and tenders quickly. The parking lot at this location can be a bit tricky as it is tight but overall not a problem.“

“Great fresh made fries. Very good Italian beef, flavorful gravy and a good sized sandwich. The staff was fast and courteous. The place is decent sized and seats a good 20 people. I was disappointed with the shakes though, they are pretty pricey and nothing special to write home about. They present nice, but over all I did not feel the value was there on this one item.“

“Was recommended by a family member. Asked what we should have and said the Classic Burger, one with tots and one with fries. Great recommendation. Char-grilled burger seasoned and great char flavor, cheese, lettuce, tomato and sliced pickle chips. Ketchup and mustard on the burger. Surprise, be careful when you pickup and take the first bite, extremely juicy and delicious. Fries and tots were very good. A 5 or 6 napkin burger. Looking forward to going back and trying other menu items.Remember this is in a gas station store with a nice seating area in front of the grill area.“

“New in town, we stopped in after a long day out and no time - or energy - to cook dinner. Had the Gyro with everything which was surprisingly good. Meat thick cut with nice crisp edges, lots of onion, tomato and a good tsatsiki. Tsatsiki good enough we wished there was a bit more on it, but be that as it may...it was a pretty darn good gyro. Tasty fries. A cheeseburger which totally satisfied us. Good meat with a good char around the edges. Very flavorful and juicy. In our view the place is a good bet and we'll definitely be back.“

“wonderful portillo's. this was my first experience at a portillo's franchise and I had a wonderful time. the food was a little more expensive than anticipated but well worth it. there are not a lot of quality beef sandwiches at fast food places but portillo's delivers with both the italian beef sandwich and the beef and cheddar croissant. the strawberry shake was also delightful. I am not the biggest fan of the fries but I subscribe to the belief that nobody does crinkle cut like Dave's Hot Chicken. the ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely.“

“Went to this Portillos in Bloomingdale drive thru only.We ordered Italian beef, chopped salads, and a hot dog.The Italian beef is excellent, as always. Same for the chicken chop salad.The hot dog, however, was rather tough. I believe it had been overcooked, making it somewhat chewy.“

“I visit this Portillo’s regularly when I’m staying in the area. Portillo’s food is simply some of the best that you can enjoy in the greater Chicago area. Their dining facility is akin to other Portillo’s across the nation and this place is always clean. I do feel that some of the drive-through order takers can be a little bit snarky but overall the service here is pretty good. I will continue to visit them and enjoy the wonderful food!“

“My gyro was hard and did not taste great. My moms Italian beef sandwich was so hot it had her coughing. I did not complain about mine but mama was talking to the manager when she started coughing so it was inevitable. The manager explained it had already been sent up the chain and got mama another sandwich which turned out not as hot.The service was top of the line.The manager also was helping with a catering order and was very helpful.Dietary restrictions: they do not have a list of ingredients and their daily value.Parking: Parking was right beside the building and there was plenty of it. They also have an wheelchair ramp and a few handicap parking spots.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu.Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair ramp and wide doors. They also have a huge ordering area as well as a wheelchair accessible bathroom.“
