When we lived in the area I was a Scooby's fan. Stopped in during a recent visit and was shocked at the prices. $20 for a beef/sausage combo. $16 for a beef. $6 for a hot dog without fries. I still like the food...and the portions were large...but in my opinion the pricing is outrageous for a fast food joint.
We ate at the downers Grove location after seeing them on TV. We got there about an hour after opening and had two hotdogs and two burgers, one of them a meal with fries and a soda. The hotdogs were cold where I asked them to microwave them. Instead it was replaced, which was nice but it was just as cold. Super friendly staff and just a pleasant place to eat. We will go back for sure. Food was great!!! Kids just loved it!!
